I was doing a little surfing and stumbled upon a fanfic page. One of the
services offered on this page was a quick guide to Ranma Fanfiction.
Intrigued, I clicked on that link, and started reading. The author of that
page opened by warning that Ranma fanfics are addictive, and cited a
possible example as mistaking the fanfic 'reality' for the real 'reality'.
I was just wonder if that happens to anyone else? Like they'll be watching
one of their Ranma tapes, and they'll either start expecting a fanfic
character to show up, or they'll say something like "Wait a minute. I
thought that Ranma had already resolved his relationship with Akane, and
Shampoo had decided to become a table dancer at the Kuno Mansion?" This has
happened to me twice, and twice only. Once, I sat waiting for SkyKnight to
show up in BGC, and the other, I started talking with my other Otaku friends
about possible match ups for Ranma characters, and I mentioned Shiro.
(Funny thing is, everyone else recognized the name, and agreed with me.
Hey, Andrew, get more done!) Just wondering if I am the only one to be
affected like that.
PS to the owner of the afore mentioned page-This is not a shameless plug for
your page. Your's just happens to be the only one that mentioned that.
