Due to problems with my server, I am being forced to take actions I don't
want to.

I *cannot* handle a list with five hundred users.  Thus, I need to reduce
the list size.  I am deleting the subscriber list right after this message
is sent out. 

Please send a message to fanfic-request@fanfic.com with subscribe in the
subject if you want to remain on the list.

I apologize for the problem this is going to cause.  So, please do NOT
send anything to the list for 48 hours, to give every one a chance to
resub.
