Many of the fics Zen has read of late place the bathroom in the Tendou home
on the second floor.  As best Zen can remember, the bathroom is on the
ground floor... for example, in the episode of the series where Ranma has
his nightmare about Kunou, Akane passes him as he is going *down* the
stairs to the bathroom...  Is there something that Zen is missing?

I think you're right Zen.  I just looked at the first GN.  Second part(near
the end) shows Ranma going downstairs, through a hall, and into the
bathroom.  This is just after Akane clobbers him with the table.
