Yeah, and what a mother--- this story was.  (hehheh.)

Seriously, this story had me ROTFL, and it also had me remembering the 70's
as well (I grew up listening to disco, but I've made a full recovery. ^_-)  I
didn't watch Shaft, but I do remember the music and can imagine what this
story would look like.
