Another simple question.  Who is your favorite character in Ranma 1/2?  Why?

hmm..my fav character...i have 2. I love Ranma because he's cute ;) Well, i
also like how, even tho he refuses to admit to his true feelings (like most
men ehehhe) he still defends Akane with his life, and he's faithful to her
when he could probably be with a lot of women (i.e. Ukyou, Shampoo,
Kodachi). Granted, he picks on Akane left and right but i think that's just
the nature of their relationship, it makes it a challange and ranma loves a
challange, especially in fighting. Picking on Akane also allows him to not
admit and mask his feelings towards her. He's able to accept and cope with
things better than say Ryouga who refuses to accept his curse (until he
realizes he can sleep with akane with it, but he still hates it) or Ranma
and Akane's engagment and Kuno..well..that's self-explanatory. I think these
things make him more mature in some aspects but he can also be childish with
his constant insulting of Akane.
        My second favorite is Akane (surprise, surprise) for many of the
same reasons i like Ranma. She's faithful to Ranma (although she says she
hates boys, it appears she's just really really picky) and she does defend
him if he gets in a jam. Granted she's a bit violent but Ranma really
deserves it and it keeps him in line :) The insult then beating lets them
mask their feelings. I just think the 2 of them are so much alike ;)
