<scene: Cory comforts Shasti as she weeps.>

Shasti:  I killed her!  My partner!  My best friend!

Cory:  I thought they cloned all of you?

Shasti:  Deirdre!  Waah!  Wa-what?

Cory:  Kei and Yuri told me you all had clone backups...

Shasti:  Why, that's right!

<Deirdre enters>

Deirdre:  Hey, like, Shasti, glad to see you're, like, OK.

Shasti:  Thanks!  Sorry I killed you, Deirdre!

Deirdre:  That's OK, death doesn't, like, matter anymore in this universe!

<They start to leave>

Cory:  Hey, we have 20 more pages of angst!

Shasti:  Sorreee...

Cory:  What about my chance to be the heroine?  GAFFNEY!  REWRITE!
