Scott Jamison wrote a story called "Sauce", In this story Ranma and
Akane were so annoyed by fanfics where authors try to solve all of the
cast's relationship problems, that they travelled to the real world to
solve the relationship problems of the fanfic authors, beginning with
Scott. Other authors followed with tales of the characters taking
revenge on the authors for stories the characters had disliked.

Are these terms common to the entire fanfic community on
the net? 

The last two, at least, are unique to anime/manga fanfiction.
