Sorry about that, had to make a slight relocation. (Bloody night
courses.)

  To continue...

----

The Chinese Cat turned and hissed at the cloaked and hooded female
figure standing in the window.
Spatula Girl glared down at the Cat.
"Well, well, not out patrolling the alleys tonight, Kitty?"
"This no your concern, Spatula Girl."
"You're right. It isn't my concern." The Midnight Chef stuck two fingers
under her hood and let loose an ear piercing whistle.
Instantly, the entire lab was flooded with light, causing the theives to
scream in pain as their night vision gear amplified the sudden influx of
brightness.
"It's OUR concern." finished a familiar and hated voice.
The Cat tore away her goggles. When the spots cleared she saw all
four members of Justice Team Japan in front of her. Spatula Girl, in her
black bodysuit and purple hooded cloak, a bandolier of throwing spatulas
across her chest.
The Mighty Fang sported his yellow and black striped costume, the
lab's light glinting off the dental appendages that had given him his name.
The ugly and violent Scarlet Cloud, her costume and domino mask the
color of fine wine, with a mallet composed of red smoke in her hands.
And lastly, her hated nemesis, Wild Horse, dressed in a blue and white
costume, the full cowl on her head decorated with the picture of a
magnificent Arabian's head. It was she who had spoken.
"Gotcha," Wild Horse finished, with a grin that made the Cat want to
claw the hero's eyes out.
However, she soon had a better idea. She broke the seal on the black
box, pulled out one of the test tubes, and hurled it...
   at Scarlet Cloud.
Wild Horse's eyes widened and, with the speed of the horse that had
drowned, dashed in front of her teammate and caught the test tube.
The Cat smiled. Exactly what she had been hoping for.
   "Now!" she yelled.
WeaponsMaster produced a smoke grenade and tossed it into the
center of the room. Instantly, a thick pall of blue smoke filled the lab. The
Chinese Cat smiled, raised one of her clawed gloves and extended her
index finger in the general direction of Wild Horse and Scarlet Cloud. She
pressed a switch in the palm of her glove and the claw shot from her
finger into the smoke. The chinese ninja was rewarded with the sound
of glass breaking.
Freeing WeaponsMaster, the Cat dragged him out the main doors of
the lab and down the hall, making good their escape.
Scarlet Cloud concentrated and soon, the blue smoke was compacted
into a basketball-sized sphere in the center of the room. She picked up
the sphere and tossed it out the window.
The members of Justice Team Japan searched the labs for their
quarry, knowing that they'd be long gone. They met back up in the lab.
"Wild Horse!" Spatula Girl suddenly gasped, pointing at the hero. All
eyes turned to the broken test tube Wild Horse still held.
At that moment, one of the walls fell down, flattening her.

"CUT! Is he all right?" Knee asked.
Ryoga lifted up the fallen set piece, while Ukyou and Akane dragged
Ranma out from under it. Ranma was in the standard "Takahashi Pain
Posture." Akane slapped her a few times to bringing her out of it.
    "He'll be fine." Ukyou reported.
"Okay, folks," Knee sighed. "That's a wrap for today. Justice Team,
we won't need you until tomorrow afternoon. Brotherhood, we'll need
you guys first thing in the morning. Report any costume problems to
Wardrobe. Good night!"
The cast began to file off to the dressing rooms, while the editors
discussed the accidents that had occured during the day's shooting.

Unbeknownst to anyone on set, on a catwalk in the rafters of the
studio, a mysterious figure lurked, intent on making sure that this cheap
bastardization of Rumiko's work never saw publication...

----

Author's notes: Aha! The plot thickens! Who is this unknown figure? (It
ain't Rumiko, guys!) What does he/she/it/they want? And how far with
he/she/it/they go to stop production of "Justice Team Japan?"

On a serious note, when I began production on this thing, I had no idea
that RTeker was working on his Ranma/Superpowers crossover. I just
wanted to make it clear that I'm not copying or plagerizing his/her work in
anyway. Looking forward to it, RTeker!
