Here's the stickler... for me at least, I have little enough time of late
to just write my own fanfics least of all read others.  Inbetween my first
year of college, my girlfriend, writing, and STILL maintaining some
semblance of a social life, something had to give.  And I basically
stopped reading fanfics except for maybe Mark Latus' works and I still
haven't finished his latest fanfic.  And my fanfics are usually fairly
big, so they stretch for months for me to write them (Prom Night is
approaching it's third month).  So basically, I now only read fanfics that
are specifically requested of me to read and C&C.  But I don't even do
that so I now have a big backlog of fanfics that I need to read.  With all
the fanfics coming out everyday, it really is impossible for me to read
fanfics regularly.  After PN is done, I'm taking a two week break from
writing and will read for once, but honestly, I'll have trouble getting
though my backlog in that time.  The point however is this..., alot of
peole on the ML DON'T write fanfics, so I'm assuming they read them
(either that or hit delete alot).  Those are the people who should be
giving C&C the most.
