I've never seen a serious take on Kodachi and Ranma.  Oh, I've seen it

I only started thinking about this because I've begun to think so fondly
of Kodachi.  Funny thing is, I used to hate her - second only to
Happosai on my dislike list in Ranma 1/2.  After writing "The Dying of
the Rose", though, I've begun to feel sympathetic for her.

I can understand that; my feelings pretty much echo yours -- and like
yours, "The Dying of the Rose" was a turning point.  So much so that I was
tempted to ask for more on this version of Kodachi...

What do you think?  Should I write this?

Oh, definitely.  Over the past few months, I've come to the conclusion
that you can do no wrong, Richard.  <grin>

Seriously, I'm looking forward to seeing someone treat this as something
other than a 5-paragraph joke (as in the "Fanfics I'll Never Write"
thread).
