Who's to say that the process stops when the switch happens. Maybe she just
starts where she left off...
Use the Source, Lurk!
Ranma does NOT have two bodies, (s)he has ONE body that switches back
and forth. This was established after Ranma's first fight with the True
Blunder. onna-Ranma hadn't been in the fight and yet she had a bruise
on her throat.
Every injury to one is reflected on the other. Ranma gets his/her
current state reflected into the other form.
This is my biggest problem with "Lemon Sherbert", danshi-Ranma gets
nailed on the dingus then switches to onna-Ranma and feels no pain.
Now onna-Ranma does have one membrane that danshi-Ranma doesn't. What
happens to him when she "loses it"? (Wouldn't it make a great Spamfic,
if the transformations STOPPED right there? ;-)
Actually all of this isn't Rumiko's worst nightmare, that goes something
like:
"My old friend is bringing his son, Ataru Moroboshi, here today. If one
of you girls were to marry him and carry on the Dojo, the future of the
School of Indiscriminate Grappling would be secure."
