Funny, I was thinking of Ukyou, too.

She's kinda calmer than most of the others, but not disinclined to
use ridiculous violence.  Also, if you replace Max with Kodachi
(good choice) you should find a female to play Sam, too.

BTW, is this fic going to be based on the game or on the book that
the game was based on?  ("_Sam & Max Hit the Road_, based on the
famed beat generation novel _Sam & Max Drive Around in a Car_ by
Bucky Kerouac")

Whahahahaha!!!  Yes, I can see that working!

Ahem.  But as I said, I won't be touching this one.  But that doesn't preclude 
the possibility of some other author picking it up and writing it!  And boy, 
would I love to see it!

No, the one I'm writing (at least the prologue, dunno if I'll go any further 
after that...), is "Sam & Max Hit Nerima", where they're called in to go where 
the Nerima Police fear to tread.  Oh, and also because being sent abroad on a 
mission is so much more polite than the term "deported"... ^_^

Anyway, I hope someone picks up the Ranma cast-replacement version...  and by 
the way, since I've only played the game, I didn't know about the book.  Thanks 
for enlightening me.

Ah, but hang on, I thought Sam & Max were created by Steve Purcell?
