Sam is the sort of the normal one. That excludes most of the Ranma
cast already....

Well, true, Sam is more sane than Max.  But it is rather relative, if you

think 

about it.

<Sam looks out of the window, down at the bomb, then throws it out the

He winces at the explosion, and then looks outside again.>
Sam:  Hope there was nobody on that bus.
Max:  Nobody we know, at least.
So, it seems that Sam isn't quite as sane as we'd like to think.  Like

most of 

the Ranma cast ^_^    However, fitting one of the Ranma cast with Sam would 
take a little bit of doing.

     Well, we could narrow it down to any character who uses a bomb.
That leaves Happosai and Ukyou. Now, don't hit me, Ukyou fans, but she
just might make a good choice. Just insane enough by the end of the
manga.
