	Sam is the sort of the normal one. That excludes most of the Ranma
cast already....

Well, true, Sam is more sane than Max.  But it is rather relative, if you think 
about it.

For instance, would any sane guy let Max drive?  Look carefully during the 
intro sequence.  They get in on opposite sides when they leave!  (Of course, 
the question of who was driving before remains unanswered... but since it's in 
America (but I don't have the intro to hand), it shouldn't be too hard to work 
out.)

And, if you don't mind me quoting a scene from it...


Max:  Sam, either termites are burrowing through my brain, or one of us is ticking.
Sam:  Oops, oh yeah.

<Sam pulls out the "Goddamn Ugly Timebomb">

Sam:  Max, where should I put this so it doesn't hurt anybody we know or care about.
Max:  Out the window, Sam.  There's nothing but strangers out there.

<Sam looks out of the window, down at the bomb, then throws it out the window.  
He winces at the explosion, and then looks outside again.>

Sam:  Hope there was nobody on that bus.
Max:  Nobody we know, at least.



So, it seems that Sam isn't quite as sane as we'd like to think.  Like most of 
the Ranma cast ^_^    However, fitting one of the Ranma cast with Sam would 
take a little bit of doing.
