2. 'Nani-yo anta?!' Is a Japanese insult. Literaly it means Who do
you think you are? However the anta is a deragotory tilt to anata used by
girls. It would be 'Nani temee?' if a guy said it. 'Temee' being a very nasty
inflection of anata. However, the basic principle is that this means What
right do you have? How could you possible think you can do that? What is
wrong with you? etc, etc.
I read the part where Ukyou says 'Nani-yo anta?', and while it would
be perfectly normal for someone speaking Tokyo standard, it sounded
something like 'Nan ya nen, omae wa?' because of her Kansai-dialect,
(in addition to her slightly boyish speech)
My Japanese isn't that good though, so I might be completely wrong :P
