Chapter 13: The Extra Chapter I Had To Make Because AOL Sucks....
Or Ryoga Goes Nutso!!!
The tempo changed from fast to slow as Tevin Cambell's "Always In My Heart,"
started to play. "Where do they get off telling you, that I am not the least
bit up to you. Just tell me how the hell they can tell you they know what's
in my heart. What do they get off telling you, that I don't give a damn
about you. Just tell me why the somebody wants to tear your heart apart...
Why do the people have to tell you lies..."
At the sight of Akane rubbing herself against Ryoga's body as they slow
danced (and also noticing Ryoga sweating buckets to keep his nose from
bleeding), Ranma turned his attentions to Shampoo and held her tightly
against him. "If she's having such a great time with pig boy, then I can
have my fun with too," thought Ranma.
Akane peeked open her eyes to notice Ranma's head side to side with
Shampoo's, making her that much more jealous. She quickly turned her head to
the side and placed it on top of Ryoga's shoulder, her face looking straight
at his. "How do you like this Ranma," she thought, not even realizing that
she was escalating this into a contest, and no longer giving a damn about
enjoying herself with Ryoga.
"They're not the ones who'll be there for you, when you need someone to turn
to. They won't be anywhere, when things start falling down. They're only
there to confuse you, so they can turn around and use you. But it can't
happen, it won't happen girl, as long as I'm around."
As Ranma and Shampoo circled, he saw Akane again, and her current position
(and a bit of blood slightly dribbling out of Ryoga's nose). And Ranma
nearly lost it. He pulled his head up and looked at Shampoo's lovely face.
Shampoo turned her attention to Ranma.
"Husband want something?"
"Yeah, I guess I do," replied Ranma as he put a hand to her chin and lifter
her head up..., for what seemed like a kiss. Ranma lowered his head to hers,
sweating bullets but one look at Akane and Ryoga made him more determined
than ever. "You asked for this Akane," he told himself.
"Ryoga, is your nose okay? Do you need a tissue?" she asked as she opened
her eyes to look at Ryoga. And then she saw Ranma and Shampoo. Ryoga felt
his breath squeezed out of him when Akane practically crushed him with her
arms. Akane felt her eyes tearing up again, for what seemed like the
hundredth time of the night, only this time, her heart... it hurt. She
wasn't mad at anything, she was... feeling the most sinking feeling in her
heart. She turned away from Ranma and wiped some tears away with her hand.
"Ryoga," she weeped, "If you don't mind... can we go somewhere else."
"What's the problem Akane? Whatever you want," he said. "Akane, why are
you crying, are you okay?" He tried to look at her, but she just turned her
head more away from him as her sniffling got louder. Ryoga then turned his
head and saw Ranma looking at Akane, and Shampoo's eyes closed and her lips
pouted ready for a kiss.
"What take Ranma so long," she said through her pouted lips. "Shampoo
ready!"
"I can't explain, why some people have to be that way. I can't take that
much, I can't ignore, I have to let you know what's in my heart..."
At first, Ryoga felt as depressed as he had ever been. He understood what
was wrong with Akane. And why she had gone with him in the first place.
"This whole night..., it's been to spite Ranma," he realized. "I guess I
won't be telling her how I feel tonight." Ryoga let his hold on Akane
loosing as this whole night began to feel like a fraud. All the feelings and
hopes he actually had for one night, flushed down the toilet in a blink. And
then he got mad; mad at Ranma. "This is all his damn fault! How dare he do
this to me, why the hell does he play with Akane like this! I'll make him
pay!"
Ryoga moved his arms and kindly pushed Akane away from him. The sound of
Akane's crying infuriated him anymore. He stared with pure hate at Ranma,
and Ranma finally locked onto his eyes.
"If I never say that I love you, Just remember girl, I'm saying I do. You
can know that from this moment you were always in my heart..."
"What the hell is your problem P-chan!" shouted Ranma.
"If you don't want her, let her the hell go!" bellowed Ryoga as he rushed at
Ranma with incredible speed, pure anger driving him on.
Ranma was caught unprepared and Ryoga tackled him onto the ground. "What
the hell are you doing!" shouted back Ranma as he slugged Ryoga across the
face.
"Ryoga! Ranma! Both of you quit it! Stop!" shouted Akane as she forgot
her tears for the moment.
"What I should have done a long time ago!" roared Ryoga as he punched Ranma
back in the face. His first blow missed as Ranma moved his head, but the
second struck Ranma across the cheek.
"Ai len!" yelped Shampoo. "You get hell off husband!" Shampoo then grabbed
Ryoga by the hair, and slammed the back of his head into the ground.
Ryoga winced in pain, as splinters of the ground scratched against his
scalp. He then felt Shampoo's high heel smashed against the side of his
face, pushing his head even deeper into the broken floor. Suddenly, the
weight was off his face.
Shampoo had moved off Ryoga when a steel rod flew by her and smashed into
the ground. "Crazy girl get strength back too soon!" She moved again when
Kodachi swung her ribbon by her.
"Too soon!? Who knows what vile deeds you have attempted on my darling
Ranma while I was... incapacitated. But I'm back and it's time to pick up
where we left off!" screamed Kodachi as her ribbon swung by Shampoo again.
Ranma was still slightly groggy from Ryoga's blow, and was now slightly
transfixed by the cat fight. But not enough to not hear Ryoga's pounding
feet charging towards him. He leapt in the air over Ryoga's head as Ryoga
smashed the floor in with a tremendous punch, doing as much damage as a
Baksie Tenkitz usually would do.
"I hate you Ranma! I hate everything you've done to me. And I hate
everything you do to Akane! You don't deserve her love!" he roared as he
charged a chi ball. "Shi Chi Hokodan!"
Ranma threw himself to the left as the ball smashed into one of the columns.
The whole ball room began to shake. "Quit it now Ryoga. Before you force
me to stop you," warned Ranma.
"If you think you can!" shouted Ryoga as he drew a dozen bandanna's and
tossed them all at Ranma.
With precision hands that a surgeon would admire, Ranma struck each of them
down before they could strike him. "Last chance P-chan." But Ranma was
itching for a fight himself. Ryoga had gotten alot closer to Akane than he
would've liked anyone to get, least of all him. He stuck his chin out.
"Let's see if you've learned anything since the last time I creamed you."
"I'll kill you Ranma!" Ryoga lunged forward with a flying knee, and flew
over Ranma.
"Not quite," Ranma said as he tried to kick Ryoga..., but his leg fell
short. "What the?" wondered Ranma before he realized he was shorter. In
fact, he was girl type now. In the heat of the battle, he didn't notice the
splash of wet on his back. He spun around to look at Jinnai.
"Aaaaahuahuahua! If I can't stop you, I'll do everything in my power to
insure someone else does!" laughed Jinnai.
"Damn you!" shouted Ranma as he charged at Jinnai, but was suddenly stopped
in mid-air when an elbow was smashed against his back, throwing him to the
ground. Ranma quickly rolled as Ryoga's foot smashed some floor panels in.
"Baksie Tenkitz!" cried Ryoga as he blew up the floor boards. Ranma leapt
away as pieces of tile flew everywhere. One of which smashed right into
Jinnai's head, leaving him unconscious again, and stopping that irritating
laughter.
"You may be faster as a girl Ranma, but you don't have a chance against me!"
Ryoga grabbed an empty table and flung it with all his strength at Ranma.
And he did it again. And again. And again.
Ranma dodged all of the tables as wood and metal chips flew all around him.
"I told you I'd stop you pig boy, and girl or no girl, you are stopped!"
shouted Ranma as he leapt back towards him.
Ryoga grabbed a pair of chairs and tried to crush Ranma between them, but
Ranma split his legs as he shattered both of them, clapped his open hands
against Ryoga's ears as he descended, and landed smoothly on his feet.
As Ryoga tried to shake off the new headache he had, Ranma jumped back into
the air and spun around 360 twice, his left leg smacking against Ryoga's
temple both times. Ryoga reeled and fell on his face.
Ranma smiled broadly. "Ha, even as a girl, you're still no match for me.
And you wonder why Akane doesn't like you."
It could be mistaken that Ryoga's chi blasts get stronger the angrier he
gets. In reality, it was depression that powered him. It just happened to
be that whenever something that depressed him happened, he'd get mad at
something else, usually Ranma. And the idea that Ranma was right about
Akane's feeling for him, made him very sad. And very angry. "No Ranma.
Akane won't be yours, not while I'm alive. And most certainly, not when
you're dead," grumbled Ryoga in a low voice. Scarier than his usual shouting
ever was.
"Shi Chi Hokodan Perfect," murmured Ryoga as a column of chi began to form
around him. A blue light surrounded him, as debris were slowly lifted off
the ground around him. And were soon incinerated as the beam grew brighter.
"End game Ranma." The column suddenly flared as the energy wave began
spreading out from Ryoga, crushing everything in its path.
Like a dear caught in the headlights, Akane was standing still as the column
of energy generated by Ryoga came crashing towards her.
*Author's notes: Wow, this is fun! So fun... that this story is ending up
even longer than what I had already decided to lengthen it too. Dance was
suppose to end by now. As you can see, it probably will next chapter,
because there doesn't seem to be much of a dance floor left. I'm having a
GREAT time writing PN now. I've diverged from my original plot now, as I
find more and more to write about. Kuno and Amy..., I expected them to get
close, but not quite as close as what I did. Hope you all caught that last
thought of Kuno's... I'm not changing his character. Mousse and Ukyou;
settled things good? I thought so. And Ryoga and Ranma, I had expected the
fight, I didn't expect it to come out so smoothly, especially concerning
Ryoga's feelings. I have to say, I think PN is turning out better than
Ranma/SM... and I would have said you were crazy if you told me this a month
ago when I was trudging along with it. Anyways, hope to see you all back
here and writing to me at chihokodan@aol.com or schi@uci.edu (didnt think
Id forget that did you?). Hope everybody enjoys reading this as much as I'm
enjoying writing it. One more thing, I just realized I've been writing this
thing for more than two months now, and since it's getting longer, sorry, but
don't expect the end until early February now.
