Just sending this to start some comments...
It's really odd what you will find in other newsgroups....
I found that other comment about overpowered otaku-fics in one of the
gaming newsgroups as well.
It's interesting to see the below comments on the ARTWORK in the game
considering the amount of it that actually came from the original design
sheets/b-club special etc....
And as to watching the videos with a small notebook..well let's just say
I'd rather just watch them
Robyn...
still in the castle
still conjestied
but at least I wrote a paragraph in my SM fic
(which is all I feel like due to head-pluggedness)

I met a Lady in the Meads,
Full beautiful, a faery's child,
Her hair was long, her foot was light
And her eyes were wild.

BCG: The RPG from R. Tal is a wonderful background book. It's not an RPG.
That was essentially the core of my review, except that I was even a little
lukewarm on the background material. In my opinion, watching the series
with a small notebook would have provided just as much information in a
much more fun fashion. And the interior art sucked, so it wasn't that
great at setting flavour.
Basically, I saw mediocre game mechanics paired off with ever-so-slightly
above average source material.
That's -my- review, after having read Cyberpunk 2013, 2020, Cybergen,
Hero (3rd?) and BGC, having watched every BGC ep. and BGC! Ep, having the
Vocal Collections and having spent hours on the net watching for BGC to
come out.
My own review came after a long time with Hero (Champions 1e, 2e and 3e;
Fantasy Hero old and new, Danger International, Justice Inc., Cyber Hero)
and a little less time with Mekton Zeta. (I don't really like giant
robots, so MZ never appealed that much -- but I did kind of like
Interlock.)
