Ryoga could be given akane's cooking, get poisoned, and open the 
monkey grounds.

An idea, I suppose, but frankly, I don't like the idea of being given the
option to "Tickle Kodachi", if you know what I mean...

more of casting Kodachi as the "murderous winged devil" in Monkey Island.

See those 12 verbs up there?  In Monkey Island, those are the twelve

things you

can do to the Murderous Winged Devil.  Now, if you want to persist with this
line of inquiry, and you really want to cast Kodachi as the Murderous Winged
Devil, then you can.  But there is no way I want to think any more on this
topic.

     I don't know. That depends entirely on one thing: do we have to hear
her laugh if we do the above verbs?
     I mean, Kodachi (from what I've seen in the manga and anime) isn't
that bad looking--but that laugh.... Oh, that laugh is just.... just....
Well, anyway, if she doesn't laugh, we're OK!
