I got this little idea a few days ago, I'm going to start work
on it soon.  Hopefully I won't have hardliners at my throat,
considering what is in store for the Ranma 1/2 crew.

	        	-=* The Letter (Preview) *=-

	"Oh Ranma!" said Kasumi, sporting her usual good-natured
smile.

	Of course she said this to a gust of wind that sent her dress
billowing.  Seconds later, the shape skidded to a halt and looked back
toward the pond.  Kasumi seemed not to even notice the breeze, her
beaming smile unfazed.

	"Huh?  Oh... Kasumi... No time now, gotta run!" Ranma managed
to say before bolting from the room.

	"Get back here you pervert!" screamed a pursuing Akane, adding
her own swish of air.

	"Oh well, I guess he'll just have to read it later..."  Kasumi
relented, placing the envelope at Ranma's usual seat.  He'd get it at
dinner, just as he usually did.  If it wasn't Akane, it was something
else.  But Kasumi knew he never forgot to eat.

	Genma watched this from behind the edge of a paper wall with a
well-aimed squint in the direction of Ranma's mail.  'So boy... still
haven't learned to treat your fiance like a woman.' he thoght, shaking
his head.  But that was short lived, once Kasumi was out of sight,
Genma made his way to the table as he did every day.

	"Cant have Ranma getting love letters from any other girls,
now can we?" Genma muttered with a slight chuckle.  Such letters
didn't exist, but it was a good excuse.

	He reached down and carefully picked up the bland white
envelope, charging up his chi to melt the glue.  Not long after, he
had a single sheet of paper in his hands.  "Nice handwriting" he
remarked.

	His attitude changed slightly when he began to read the words
the carefully scrawled sripting spelled out.

To Ranma Saotome:

	This is a chain letter.  You must send this letter to 10
martial artists in 24 hours or you will lose any and all martial art
skills you possess.

	Maki Ralis broke this chain, and two weeks later in the middle
of a fight, he forgot all he'd known of martial arts and impaled
himself on a picket fence after tripping over a sweep.

	Warning:  Any attempt at de-cursing this letter will also
activate the curse, therefore Cologne can not help you.

	Muahahahahahahahah!!!!!

	Genma rolled his eyes and replaced the letter.  Ranma knew he
had mail, so he couldn't just throw it away.  Genma just hoped that
Ranma didn't believe any of the garbage the letter was spewing.

	Too bad he was right.

			*	*	*

	That's it everybody!  Just a preview, but I think you get the
idea.  A real, actual cursed chain letter.  I never really liked those
stupid things, and I figure few people do either, so I wondered what
would happen to Ranma if he followed the natural instinct to trash
one.  This is not an alternate universe, it is based on the Ranma 1/2
world and I am trying my best to keep the characters true.

	C&C is welcome, try to lay off of the grammer and spelling,
I'm writing this in a dos-based editor for easy reading and will only
fix mistakes in the final release.
