I Know I should have gotten this out to you all earlier, but I have not.
I've procrastinated, but this part is complete, if not polished. Please
give C&C if you can, and tell me what you think. I will hopefully have
this all done (along with two more story parts that define the creation
of fred, and a trip across the country delivering access to fred to a few
authors, and then a story involving the politics of fred) by the time
Webdragon is done with Revenge End.

                          SKJAM! Revengefic Challenge:

"The Hair is Always Pinker on the Other Side"

                                  by frosty

It all started with a wishful little post that I made in response to
the fanfic 'Sauce' by Scott Jamison. It was a challenge to the authors on the
list write a short piece where they got visited by the characters they control
in their fics, and in most instances, those characters aren't very happy. It
was a complete and total sucsess.

I pulled up the driveway after a half hour commute home which followed
a Japanese class that I less than enjoyed. I wasn't enjoying the class that
much, but I figured that after a couple more semesters of it, I'd be pleased
with myself for getting myself where I could watch anime in the raw without
being left clueless. I pulled the parking brake as far as I could just hoping
that my car wouldn't decide to take a plunge into the lake that resides across
the street from the bottom of my parents' steep driveway. I walked around the
side of the house to the door that is an enterance to the room that I sleep
and
keep my computer.

I unlocked and opened the door to my room, at which point I abruptly
fell and landed on my jaw (OUCH). My room sparkled. Everything was clean.
 My
bathroom was repaired and clean. All the books had been properly ordered and
shelved. All the anime was sorted and properly stored. All the stuff that it
would be in my best interest to peruse was stacked neatly on my desk. My
living space had not only been cleansed and sanitized, but it had also been
sorted. This was not a days work. This was several weeks worth of work that
some miracle had managed to accomplish in just a few hours. I was curious, if
not a little bit afraid of who or what might have been able to do such a
thing,
so I walked upstairs.

As I walked up the stairs that would bring me up, I noticed that
everything was clean and fixed. I had thought that the only thing that that
could possibly clean this house would be a few buldozers and a large
construction crew to re-build. Soon I was in the living room, and what I
discovered there prompted a face-fault. There were 14 Kasumi's there. I said
the first thing that came to my mind, "Subbed or Dubbed?". Kasumi-1 said
something and yellow words appeared before her, "Subtitled by the Ranma
Project". I facefaulted once again (one of these days my jaw is gonna
break).

All of the Kasumi's were different. I soon learned that they were all
from different fanfics, and that all were here for vengance. One of them held
a flag with the letters OOC on it.

        "Why me?", I subtitled.
"Because you allowed the fanfics to stop" said a Kasumi with a knife.
"But wasn't it your compatriots who enacted the vengance?"
"That's what they wanted, those who have lives outside of the fiction"
said a particularly cheerful Kasumi.
"But we only exist within the fiction, without the authors writing
about us, we do nothing, we just sit bored".
"Now we want our vengance" said a dark and evil looking Kasumi (I
didn't even think that was possible).

Pain etched it's way through my body as the water hit me. My bones
crunched themselves down to a dwarved size, and I instantly dropped 270
pounds.
I had been drenched with the water from the spring of drowned Chibi-usa.

        "You drowned Chibi-usa?"
        "Yes"
        "Thank You I think"
        "You're welcome"

I screamed again as I was drenched again, but I felt no change.

        "What was that?"
        "Chisuiton"
        "You made my change permanent?"
"Yes, and we're going home now"
        "How are you getting there?"
"Infinite Improbability Generator, you will destroy for us once we're
done with it, won't you?"
"Yes" I said, for it is impossible to refuse Kasumi.

        Then I fainted.

*********

I woke hours later lying in my bed, my cat Fazwonga lying on my back.
He (it?) woke up and handed my a rod.
"With the death of Chibi-usa, you will be a new a new fighter for love
and justice against the Youma of the Dark Kingdom." Said my cat.

Once again I lost conciousness, maybe in sleep, I would be able to
find
an escape from my new found nightmare.

The End (for now)
