Chapter 11: Chaos Theory (When One Thing Goes Wrong...)
"Looks like the children are all here," observed Soun. He and Hinako were
both sitting at a table right now, sipping on punch.
Hinako frowned at him. "Soun, you're not planning anything funny, are you?"
Soun turned around startled at her. "Heheh..., would I do something like
that?"
"Yes!" shot back Hinako. "Soun, maybe you should just leave those kids
together and let them come together on their own."
"Of course you're right, I was never planning anything bad in the first
place. You have nothing to worry about," stated Soun as he patter her hand.
In his mind, Soun was laughing with a mischievous tone. He checked the
pocket in his jacket real quickly to make sure he still had the "real"
ballots. At least, real enough for the ASB President to read when he
announced the king and queen.
"What are you feeling in your pocket?" asked Hinako.
"Um... nothing. I was just... checking my... my pager."
"You don't have a pager Soun."
"Hehee...Um, want to dance again? I like this song," nervously blurted Soun
as he got up and dragged her with him.
"But I thought you needed to regain your energy," but she was dragged onto
the dance floor before she had time to think about it.
"Water From The Moon," by Celine Dion was just starting. "Can't you see
that I'm going out of my mind, Trying to find a way to get through to you.
Oh you don't know how hard I try And I try and I try. What do I gotta
do..."
"Ranma, where you are Ranma! Stupid spatula girl hide you from Shampoo!"
she shouted as she pushed her way through couples looking for Ranma.
"Shampoo, forget about Ranma and just dance with me," pleaded Mousse,
following her with his glasses in place. "Ranma will pop up later..."
Shampoo grabbed Mousse by the collar as soon as he finished his sentence.
"You and spatula girl plot to steal Ranma away from Shampoo! You tell
Shampoo where Ranma is now!"
Mousse didn't notice that Shampoo was yelling at him, or that she was
roughly shaking him by the collar. What he did notice was how close he was
to her now, and that she was acknowledging him face to face. He put his arms
around Shampoo's waist and started to lead. "Just one dance Shampoo..."
Shampoo was still holding him by the collar, but she seemed to calm down a
bit. "Stupid Mousse, Shampoo need find Ranma, no waist time on you." But
she didn't really try to break out of his grasp.
"Four minutes Shampoo, that's all I'm asking for, and then you can go find
Ranma," implored Mousse.
"One dance and you leave Shampoo alone?"
"Just give me one dance now Shampoo, please."
Shampoo let go of his collars and put her arms lazily on his shoulders. She
maintained a distance between her and Mousse. This was more than Mousse had
usually gotten, so he was content, and started swaying with her.
"And I've searched every book I know, Just to find the words, Oh to touch
your world and get some love out of you. I've already giving all I can give,
And I don't know what's left to try..."
"Shampoo..., it's just you and me now. So there's no need to lie,"
pronounced Mousse as they moved together.
"What you talking about? Me never lie. Shampoo mean it when she say you
stupid and she love Ranma."
Mousse gritted his teeth a bit when she said that, his first reaction was to
go pound the living tar out of Ranma, but he calmed down and asserted
himself. "Not that Shampoo, I was going to ask you about what happened in
that... weird place. The Naughtyverse or something?"
Shampoo smacked him on the back of the head. "Stupid Mousse, it called
Negaverse."
"Yeah, whatever. But I need to ask, you do remember what happened there..."
Shampoo was quiet for a moment. She seemed to turn away from Mousse, not in
repulsion, but almost in fear...
"Shampoo remember stupid Mousse get possessed and almost kill Shampoo!" she
yelled back. "And Shampoo remember, Mousse fight demon and try to protect
Shampoo," she quietly said.
"And I remember something after that... right before I passed out Shampoo."
Shampoo turned to look at him with a fire in her eyes. "Shampoo have pity
on Mousse and help him a little. Shampoo just make sure Mousse not dead and
that all!" loudly denied Shampoo, not even aware she was obviously denying
something.
"Shampoo... we almost kissed. My glasses were off, I was delirious, but I
couldn't have imagined it. I felt too many sensations for it to be a dream.
I still remember the smell of your breathe on my face Shampoo."
Shampoo let go of Mousse and broke out of his grasp. She turned to him
angrily and cried, "Mousse, you imagine whole thing! Shampoo love Ranma!
She never betray Ranma for stupid, blind, duck boy!"
"Love me, how do I make you love me. How do I make you see that I'm goin'
out of my mind..."
Shampoo tore herself away from Mousse and restarted her search for Ranma in
the sea of dancers. "Ranma, Shampoo coming to save you!" she shouted as she
waded through the crowd out of Mousse's sight.
"Wait Shampoo! Why do you keep throwing yourself at him!" yelled Mousse as
he thought he took a hold of her arm. "He doesn't want you, he doesn't treat
you with respect, all he does is take advantage of you! Look at me! I'm
here for you when he's not! How can you not care at all about how devoted my
love is especially compared to him! Um, Shampoo, why is your arm so cold...,
and wet too," observed Mousse. He shifted his glasses and noticed he was
holding on to the neck of a goose ice statue. With his head hanged low in
disappointment, he went into his pocket and pulled a bottle out. There was
some writing on it in Chinese, and written in pencil it said "Property of
Shampoo. You take, I kill!" It was the love potion Shampoo had been
planning on using on Ranma. And now, it was in Mousse's hands. Mousse let
out another sigh.
"Should I use this," debated in Mousse's mind. "I don't want to use this on
Shampoo, I don't want to do... anything out of the ordinary to her. I want
her to love me without any drugs or potions. But what if she never does love
me without it? What if this is the only way for me to get anywhere with her.
That day in the cave, we were so close. Funny thing is, that made me want
her even more. It was like coming so close, that I want it even more now.
Now, I need it. And I don't know how much longer I can wait... Why does
she like someone who doesn't like her, and ignore someone who loves her more
than anything?"
He shoved the bottle back into his pocket. "I love her so much, I'd die to
make her happy. That very love is what's making me hesitant to use this on
her. Not yet. I'll see what happens later this night. But one things for
sure, I have to get Shampoo alone. At the very least, I guess she won't be
using this on Ranma." Mousse walked back to the table alone, actually
wondering if Ukyou would come back to him soon. He shoved his hands into his
pockets and slowly strolled off the dance floor full of couple's in each
other's arms. He really didn't feel like being alone now... and especially
not with Kodachi and Jinnai.
"What do I gotta do, Do I gotta get water from the moon. Is that what I
gotta do, To make you love, Make you love me..."
"Hey Ucchan, you feeling better?" gently inquired Ranma as he gently lifter
her face up. "The songs almost over."
Ukyou took another sniffle and wiped what few tears she had left away. She
nodded her head and told him, "I'm okay Ranma. I don't know what possessed
me..., but Ranma..., I don't want this to end." She wrapped her arms around
Ranma again and placed her head on top of his shoulder. "Just a little
longer Ranma, please."
"Ukyou I'd love to but..."
Ukyou lifted her head up to look at him. "But what?" She noticed Ranma's
legs were shaking somewhat nervously.
"I need to go to the bathroom Ukyou. I haven't gone since before dinner.
In all the commotion that's been going around since then, I forgot I needed
to go. So..."
Ukyou looked at Ranma with a dry look. "Fine sugar. Go to the bathroom.
But hurry back, okay hon?" She let go of her grasp on Ranma.
"Back before you know it, and look out for Shampoo and Kodachi by the way."
Ranma took a few steps away from her, and suddenly paused. He turned around
to Ukyou and asked her, "Hey Ukyou, what IS it you girls do in the bathroom
when you all go at the same time?"
Ukyou smiled back at Ranma with a mischievous grin. "Maybe next time Ranko
can join us in there?"
"Haha Ucchan," he said as he walked off. "Be back before you know it."
"I'll be waiting!" chirped Ukyou as she smiled brightly at him, her eyes on
him until he was out of sight. Even after he was gone, a huge smile was
still frozen on her face. She hugged herself as she prepared to walk back to
their table and wait for Ranma. "I can't believe how perfect this night is
going! Maybe Ranma will be mine this night if things keep going this way,"
she thought. She was still hugging and smiling as she began to make way back
to the table.
"What you so happy about spatula girl! And where you hide Ranma!" roared
Shampoo as she flew at Ukyou. "Shampoo wipe that dumb smile off your face!"
Shampoo's words were just enough for Ukyou to regain herself and duck under
her jump kick. If Shampoo had been more silent, she might've creamed Ukyou.
Dancers all around them spread to get away from the powder keg.
"What do you think you're doing! We're in the prom for god's sake, don't
fight here!" shouted Ukyou as she got up.
"You one to talk! Shampoo know spatula girl try seduce Ranma, and keep him
from Shampoo! And you dump stupid Mousse on Shampoo lap! Why you no keep
your own date and not interfere with Shampoo's!" cried Shampoo as she
prepared to duke it out with Ukyou.
Ukyou smirked at her. "It's not my fault you can't keep your own man. Is
it my fault Ranchan would rather be with me than a bimbo like you."
"That last straw!" roared Shampoo as she charged wildly at Ukyou. She threw
a broad left hook at Ukyou, who barely managed to sidestep it. In Shampoo's
fury, she was just throwing her strongest punches in a fury, not really
concentrating on placing them. This was the only reason Ukyou hadn't been
creamed yet.
And Ukyou knew she was in over her head. "I can't keep up with Shampoo in
hand to hand, she's better than me," she warned herself. She leapt over a
downward kick by Shampoo and tried to throw a punch Shampoo easily blocked.
She rolled aside as Shampoo swung her leg over her.
"I can barely keep up with her with my spatula, I don't have a chance
against her now without it," she thought. She kept downwards, and spun
around to try to catch Shampoo with a roundhouse. Shampoo easily grabbed her
leg. "Oh smack."
Shampoo took a tight grip on Ukyou's leg, and pulled her leg towards her
right, preparing to sling her. "Let's see how Ranma like dance with you when
you have broken leg!"
With all the speed she had, Ukyou quickly reached down to her left thigh,
and slipped a mini-spatula free from it's holster on her leg and threw it at
Shampoo.
Shampoo had to let go of her leg to dodge it, and Ukyou slipped free and
quickly somersaulted away.
"That leaves only two more left to throw. And that isn't enough to beat
her. Damnit, if she's going to take me down, I'm not going to let her go
scotch free," thought Ukyou. "Come on, let's see if you can take what you
dish out!" dared Ukyou.
At that very moment, a ball crashed down in-between the two of them and
exploded. Shampoo and Ukyou both ducked, as dancers in all directions were
sent flying by the explosion.
"Aaaaaaaaahahahahahaha," laughed Kodachi. "You, the hussy, I saw what you
were doing with Ranma. I see he couldn't wait to leave from this miserable
experience you tried to put him through. And you, the bimbo, Ranma was
desperate enough to get away from you to run to her! The only reason I'm not
with him now is...," threatened Kodachi as she leapt into the air and threw a
hail of clubs at them. "Is to take care of all of you once and for all!"
The two of them both dodged her clubs, and rolled away. "Where does she get
her weapons," wondered Ukyou. "And here I am without my spatula; why can't I
pull it out of the blue?"
Ranma didn't know what to think of him and Ukyou right now. He was
questioning his choice of action with Ukyou. He didn't want her to think he
was leading her on but..., she didn't think she loved Ukyou; at least not in
that way. Ranma shook a little, and zipped up his pants. "What the hell am
I going to do when Shampoo finds me," worried Ranma. He went to the sink to
wash his hands.
"Excuse me ma'am, but this is the men's rest room," voiced someone beside
Ranma.
Ranma immediately recognized Jinnai's voice. "What are you talk...," began
Ranma, but he paused when he saw Jinnai smiling wickedly at him. Chills went
up his spine for a moment. "Why does this skinny little freak scare me so
much," he wondered. "What are you talking about Jinnai?" barked Ranma.
"This!" shouted Jinnai as he splashed water from the faucet at Ranma. "Why
don't you wash your hands with cold water!"
Ranma quickly wheeled away as the water missed him. "Ha, I don't know how
you found out about me, but you can't get me when I'm nowhere near a sink."
"Aaaaaahuahuahuahuahua! Do I look like a simpleton? That was just a
warning." In a flash, Jinnai whipped out a pair of SuperSoaker 1000's
strapped around his shoulder. "When my dear Kodachi finds out that you're
also her vile enemy the pig tailed girl, she'll kill you and come running to
my arms!" cackled Jinnai as he shot huge streams of water at Ranma.
"You're crazy!" shouted Ranma as he jumped out of the bathroom door. "You
and Kodachi deserve each other!"
Jinnai ran out of the bathroom still shooting Ranma..., and he didn't need
to repump the water! "As you can see, I've added my own brilliant
modifications to this gun. It is fully semi-automatic!
Aaaaaaahuahuahuahua!"
"I don't go down that easily!" yelled Ranma as he tried to charge Jinnai,
but he had to quickly flip away when streams of water narrowly missed him.
"Damn, he's quicker than he looks," cursed Ranma to himself.
Ranma jumped back and decided to go straight to the heavy stuff to finish
him off quickly. "Mouko Takibishya!" he cried as he let loose a chi blast at
him.
Jinnai's jaw dropped as an unexpected ball of destruction flew at him. He
was ready for impact right before someone opened the women's bathroom door,
smacking him in the face, but blocking the chi blast at the same time.
A little, old man with a big bag thrown over his shoulder leaped out of the
bathroom, laughing in glee. "What a haul, what a haul!" Happosai shouted as
he bounced off Ranma's head.
"I should've known the old perv was here," cursed Ranma right before he
turned around to notice a stampede of girls coming out of the bathroom after
Happosai. "Oh damn," murmured Ranma before he was run over by the rush.
Once the girls had all exited, the women's bathroom door slowly closed
again, as Jinnai slid off the wall in a crumpled heap. Ranma himself was
lying on the ground with footprints all over him. Neither of them were ready
to restart their little match, as they were both occupied remembering how to
breathe.
Ukyou dodged low as one of Kodachi's clubs flew over her head, and then
rolled left as Shampoo smashed the ground in with her fist. "This is crazy!"
she thought as she jumped out of the way as Shampoo charged at Kodachi. "I
can't keep up with them, especially unarmed."
As Shampoo swung her leg at Kodachi, Kodachi shifted and slightly cut
Shampoo's dress with a razor hoop at her leg. "AAAAAHHH!!! Crazy girl
damage Shampoo dress! Kodachi... Shampoo kill!"
"Big words little woman!" shouted back Kodachi as she leapt over Shampoo and
wrapped her ribbon around Shampoo's arms, tying her up. "Aaaaaaahahahahaha!
What are you going to do now?"
The sound of Shampoo's grinding teeth could annoy the deaf. "Shampoo, show
you..." With a surge of strength, Shampoo leapt back, and when she landed,
she twisted her whole body as to wrench the ribbon out of Kodachi's hand,
twisted her body more as she whirled the ribbon around, and smacking the
startled Kodachi on the head with the ribbon's handle.
"Uf," cried Kodachi as she rolled to the blow. Holding her right cheek, she
roared, "Now you've done it!"
Shampoo flexed her muscles and ripped her way out of the ribbon. "No,
Shampoo just starting!"
"Okay, I'll just let them kill each other," thought Ukyou to herself as she
turned away from the two of them as they crashed into each other. "While
they're killing each other, that leaves Ranchan all for me." Ukyou began
tiptoeing away into the crowd, and suddenly stopped when she heard Kodachi
screaming after her.
"And where do you think you're going!" roared Kodachi as she leapt into the
air above Shampoo and threw a ball bomb at Ukyou.
"Everybody, look out!" shouted Ukyou as she pushed people out of the way.
"Get down!" she warned as the ball bomb crashed and exploded a few feet
behind her. The blast threw her into the air and landing on her back hard.
She lay there for a moment as her brain tried to stop swirling. She assumed
that since she was still alive, Kodachi and Shampoo had forgotten her again
and began killing each other once more. "Well, so much for sneaking away,"
thought Ukyou. "Damnit, I need a plan." She slowly rolled over, and
struggled to her hands and knees. And then she smiled. She had a plan.
"You're not bad for a wench," complimented Kodachi as she threw a razor hoop
over Shampoo's head.
"Shampoo more than not bad, Shampoo best!" roared Shampoo as she lowered her
shoulder and rammed it into Kodachi's chest, knocking them both onto the
floor. On top of Kodachi now, Shampoo pulled back her fist for a killing
blow. "Shampoo, kill!"
Kodachi bit down on a cap in her mouth, and then blew some powder into
Shampoo's face. Almost immediately, Shampoo began to feel dizzy. She
slipped off Kodachi and held her head as if trying that would keep it from
spinning. "What crazy girl do to Shampoo," she groggily got out.
"Aaaaaaaaahahahahaha," laughed Kodachi. "That is my patented equilibrium
disrupter powder. Let's see how well you fight when you can't tell up from
down!" cried Kodachi as she kicked Shampoo in the waist, knocking her onto
the ground. "It was a good workout, but fun time is over," hissed Kodachi as
she drew out a ball bomb to finish off Shampoo.
As Kodachi was about to leap and throw it at Shampoo, Shampoo suddenly swept
her right leg at Kodachi, and tripped her. Kodachi fell to the ground as the
ball rolled away towards a table and exploded.
"How the hell did you do that! You're supposed to be dazed!" seethed
Kodachi as she propped herself up with her hands.
Shampoo smiled triumphantly as she slowly got up, but the effects of the
powder were still obviously effecting her. "Shampoo work with many potions
and herbs. Shampoo build tolerance to poisons."
"Don't kid yourself sister, it's obvious the powder has taken some effect on
you foolish girl," Kodachi said as she got up herself.
Before the both of them could clash again, a mini-spatula flew at them.
They both narrowly dodged it as the spatula's grazed their leg, scratching
both of their dresses.
"How dare you!" both of them hissed as they turned to Ukyou.
"Come and get me if you can girls," taunted Ukyou as she turned around and
began running from the both of them.
"How dare stupid spatula girl touch Shampoo dress!" shouted Shampoo as she
pursued Ukyou.
"Oh! My beautiful dress has been marred, and by the likes of you to boot!
I'll make you pay a thousand times over you hussy," roared Kodachi as she
also chased Ukyou.
"I hope this works, because those were the last of my mini-spatula's," Ukyou
told herself as she leapt over ball bombs and Shampoo's swinging fists right
behind her. "If I live long enough to do this."
"So," said Ryoga.
"Um... yeah, so," replied Mousse.
The two of them were both sitting at their tables now, without much to say
or do.
"Is she crazy?" wondered Akane as she sat next to Ryoga, but looked
quizzically at Amy and Kuno. Amy was looking at Kuno with these... "eyes."
Amy giggled loudly when Kuno whispered something in her ear, and then Kuno
began laughing as well. "Kuno, that's not a nice thing to say," giggled Amy.
"But my darling, if you were to only have witnessed that spectacle between
my enemy Ranma and his Chinese floozy, Shampoo." He then began laughing as
well.
Akane turned away from the odd couple to look at Ryoga who was sitting there
as bored as Mousse. "So Ryoga, you having fun tonight or what?" smiled
Akane.
At the sound of Akane's voice, he quickly turned to look at her and began
choking on his own words again. "Heheheheh..., of course Akane! How could I
not be having fun being her with... you," he trailed off at the end. "I have
to get her on the dance floor again. I have to... tell her," he ordered to
himself. With a courage he didn't know he had, he took a hold of Akane's
hand and asked her, "Um, Akane, if you don't mind, could we... like dance
again. Not that we have to, I'd understand if you...," but he stopped
babbling when Akane put her finger to his lips. He could feel the damn
pressure building in his nose again.
"I'd love to dance again Ryoga," soothed Akane.
"Great," thought Mousse. "That leaves me with the two star struck lovers."
He couldn't help it, but he began to wonder where Ukyou was and when she'd
come back. He wanted... someone here with him. On this night, and after
what happened with Shampoo, he was utterly miserable and being alone at the
Junior Prom didn't make him feel any better.
Ranma slowly pulled himself up. The sound of millions of high heels
stepping on him hadn't exactly faded yet. "Damn, the little perv is going to
ruin everything, more so," he thought. As he got up and prepared to go back
to the dance floor, he heard someone stir behind him.
"Do you think... this is over Ranma Saotome?" gasped Jinnai as he pulled
himself together. "Not by a long shot!" he said as he pulled back up his
super soakers and blasted away at Ranma.
"Damming, why don't you give it up!" shouted back Ranma as he leapt away
into the ball room again.
"Tatsuhiko Jinnai does not give up!" He chased Ranma out and began spraying
water wildly.
As Ranma jumped from table to table, each occupant of the tables were doused
thoroughly by Jinnai as he continued to try to soak Ranma. "Aaaaaahuahuahua,
you can run, but you can't hide Ranma Saotome!"
"He's right," thought Ranma. "He's going to keep at me just like Mousse...,
or Ryoga..., or Kuno..." Ranma spun around and dodged under some sprays.
"Except unlike those others, THIS guy I can take down for good."
As Jinnai laughed maniacally as he shot water in every direction, Ranma
stealthy slipped past his defenses and rushed towards Jinnai and incredible
speed. His fist connected with Jinnai's chin hard as he uppercutted him so
hard, that Jinnai flew into the air before landing with a THUD on his back.
Ranma dusted off his hands and smiled. "That takes care of that. Chalk
another one up for Ranma Saotome." He turned his back and prepared to walk
back to Ukyou..., or Shampoo...
Jinnai wasn't really able to think anymore. In fact, he couldn't really see
anymore either. His whole mind was just a red haze. A red haze with one
thing on his mind. He reached into his pocket and drew out a waterballoon.
He didn't even remember why he wanted to get this man wet anymore. Hell, he
didn't even remember his name. In fact, if you asked him now, Jinnai
probably couldn't tell you his phone number. But he had one thought left in
him. And that was to get the only man his vision could still see wet. With
his remaining strength, Jinnai heaved the waterballoon at his unaware target.
The music drowned out the sound of the balloon until it was almost too late.
Ranma turned around quickly and saw the balloon inches from him. He tried
to jump away instinctively, and without direction, but it was no use. The
balloon smashed into his chest and showered him with water.
"Look out dear!" shouted a young man as he pushed his girlfriend down, as a
red haired pig tailed girl crashed down on top of their table. Girl type
Ranma Saotome shakingly got up, still on the table. And then he noticed how
close the table he landed on was to their table.
Girl type Ranma was standing on the table right in front of Akane and Ryoga,
who had not quite made their way to the dance floor yet. "Ranma! What the
hell are you doing as a girl! I told you not to cause trouble!" berated
Akane.
"Do you think I wanted to become a girl!" shouted back Ranma.
Kuno broke his attentions from Amy as he laid his eyes on Ranma. He was
silent for a moment, as if the thought that he shouldn't chase her in front
of Amy crossed his mind. But apparently, it didn't. "Pig tailed girl!"
shouted Kuno with glee as he suddenly stood up. "My love!" In a moment, he
had swooped Ranma into his arms. "So sure you are of your feminine beauty
that you dress fashionably in a man's tuxedo to this delightful evening!
Have you come this far just for me!"
Ranma smashed his fist into Kuno's face as he leapt out of his arms and
began to run back towards the bathroom, desperately in need of hot water. "I
did not come here for you Kuno! In fact, I'm leaving right now!"
"But my love, the night has just begun! Do not make like Cinderella but
stay here with me well past the twelfth hour!" ranted Kuno as he chased after
Ranma.
Amy got up furiously as she was about to perform a very violent act she
usually refrained herself from doing. And then she did refrain herself.
"Kuno," she whispered out as she saw him leave chasing after Ranma.
"Kuno..."
Amy felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to look at Akane's
distressed face. "Are you okay Amy? I'm sorry," Akane told her.
Amy lowered her head slightly, but tried to smile anyway. "I'm fine," Amy
answered. "Afterall, didn't you say I was better off without Kuno?"
Akane tried to smile a bit, and nodded her head. "Trust me, you should hope
that Kuno never comes back. I should be so lucky."
"Thanks Akane," Amy replied. In her mind though, she was hurt more badly
than she would've liked to admit. "What's wrong with me? Akane is right,
Kuno is an idiot. I should've expected him to do something like this. Why
would I be at all interested in Kuno at all? We are SO different, Greg is
more my type. If Greg lived closer, I'd surly be with him now and not with
that idiot Kuno at all this evening. But I was with Kuno tonight... and...
it's done... something to me."
"You got your second wind back Soun?" asked the small sized Ms. Hinako.
A very drained Soun replied, "Just five more minutes." He gazed towards the
dance floor and noticed pillars of smoke in the air, making their way towards
him. "This reminds me, I've got to get my act together here and get Akane
and Ranma together, " he thought. He then turned to Hinako. "But to do
that, I need to find a way to get away from her."
Almost as if on cue, Ukyou landed on their table, and bounced off. She
turned around in mid-air and pointed at Kodachi and Shampoo. "Ms. Hinako,
help me! They're trying to beat me up!" she pleaded.
Hinako slammed her palms on the table and stood up on her little legs. "Oh,
so you bad girls are trying to ruin this fine student of mine's Junior Prom?
Not while Ms. Hinako is around! Yako No Taiso Step 1!" She pointed her
five yen coin towards Kodachi and before Kodachi knew what was happening, she
felt herself weakening.
"What are you doing little... girl?" questioned Kodachi as she saw Hinako
grow from a small girl to a very well developed woman.
"There will be no delinquents ruining this evening," scolded Hinako.
Kodachi landed on the ground, but her legs couldn't support her and she fell
to her hands, the chi energy being sucked out of her. "Oh dear, this was
unexpected," claimed Kodachi as she slumped onto the ground and passed out.
Shampoo smiled at the defeated Kodachi. "At least crazy girl skinnier now,"
smirked Shampoo. And then she stopped smiling when Hinako turned her
attentions towards her.
"Yakko No Taiso Coin Return!" chanted Hinako as a blast of chi smashed into
Shampoo knocking her flat against a wall. Shampoo fell to the ground weakly.
Hinako was back to her small size, and walked towards Shampoo. "Time to
finish this, and I don't need to suck chi from Mr. Tendo to turn big this
time," she said as she pointed her coin at Shampoo.
"Ai ya," squeaked Shampoo.
*Author's Note: I dare say this story is going to be longer than Ranma/SM
now. This sure as hell wasn't expected. I didn't think I could write this
much about a dance, but I guess I forgot how they seem to fly by, when you
actually do so much. Anyway, at least that's how I remember them. Well, the
main reason I'm stopping the chapter here is because... it's kind of long. I
don't think it'll fit on my e-mail if I don't stop it now. I'd better stop
this editorial before it doesn't! I'll write more at the end of the next
chapter. And as always, I need to say e-mail all comments and critics to
chihokodan@aol.com or schi@uci.edu.
