I remember seeing something in high school that was a list of grammar
rules and writing tips, while at the same time being a list of
examples of the mistakes that the rules were telling you to avoid.

For example,

1) Don't use no double negatives.
2) Don't end a sentence with a preposition, no matter how much you
want to.
3) And don't start a sentence with a conjunction.
4) Avoid cliches like the plague.
etc.

Anybody want to compile a whole list of these? If we posted one
somewhere, it would help people's grammar and be fun to read too.

Some of these rules are way too nitpicky for fanfiction, I realize
that. I'm just listing the above as the examples I can think of.
