I cringe to admit it, but yeah.  <grin>

Most fanfic writers overrate the technology, sometimes by two or three
orders of magnitude.  (But if ridiculous tech is what you want in your
game, who am I to stop you from writing up the stats?)

I realize the tech is exaggerated by a number of the writers. But then
again, it takes four heavily armed and armored persons to take out these
things most of the time, and they *do* put a major stress on the AD
Police's death benefits budget...
