established, as evidenced by the aforementioned Pansuto Tarou...
The assertion that the Nannichuan at Jyusenkyou would cure any of the Ranma
characters is an assumption made by the characters, and is never
established either way.  Which is possibly for the best.

Takahashi-sensei did say in an interview that Nannichuan would cure
Ranma of his curse.  That makes it canon, IMHO.

     This is true. However, this doesn't preclude the additive effects of
the springs *IF* we use the translation "drowned" rather than "immersed".
Then, should Ranma *drown* in the Nannichuan, we'd probably end up with
a.... Hmm. "Spring of Drowned Hermaphrodite" I guess. Or, it would stay
Nannichuan since Ranma is a guy in "normal" form.
