Quincy founded Genom, and was born in 1962. How young of an entrepeneur do
you want to make him? Genom was established enough to be buying up land in

research (or Mason did), building Genom Towers around the world in 2024, and
causing the 2nd Great Kanto Quake in 2025.

Now for _me_, this is seriously spooky, as that's the same year I
was born...

Going by myself, then.. Genom could have been founded any time
between 1992 amd 2000. The age of thirty isn't too young to be a screaming
success, if you are as ruthless as Quincy is. And give a company 15 years
to grow in, (from 2000a to 2015, see above) and it either dies, or becomes
quite successful.

I might be more inclined to give at an late 80's date for being formed,
certainily 1989. That way the PC boom is still a couple of years off and
Genom could probably wipe out Bill if Quincy wanted to (nothing like
coporate backstapping..:). Plus the late 80's is when the field of
BioTechnology started to crop up too, although as reasearch more than
consumer products. That way Genom is also in on the bottom floor of that
too....

Of course this has brought up another point on the founding of Genom, is
that how many think the Japanese goverment was involved in at least
providing some funding under the table to Genom in the early years. If the
BGC world is like ours then one can safely assume the US still had control
over the PC market, and I bet some people in the Japanese goverment would
of loved to have control over such a lucritive market, thus supporting a
company like Genom....

Ja ne!!
