Onna-Ranma sits on the steps of the Dojo and thinks.



Geeze, My life's such a mess, and there's nobody I can talk to about it.



Pop's no help, he gets me into half of it.  And mom, well I can't go to

her like this, not with this damn curse.



At least my mom's still alive.  Ukyou's dad sent her with us, because

she had lost her mom.  Then pop dumped her, and I helped.



Akane misses her mom too.  I guess that's why she's always fighting with

me, she's got nobody else to try to really talk to.



And Shampoo, she's only her dad left too.



What a group, teenage martial artists who've lost their mothers and are

after me.



Wait, that's true of Kodachi and Tatewaki also!



Is that what all these people see in me, their missing mothers?



Damn!  I do need a cure for this curse!



Here comes Akane.  I'd better not say any of this to her.  Say, both her

and that pig of hers have been crying.  "What's up Akane?"



"I read a letter from Ryouga.  It seems his mother is missing, presumed

dead.  I've cried so much that P-chan has started crying too.  Could you

hold him for awhile?"



That look in Ryouga's eyes, I've seen it before...



"Yiiiiiii!!!!!"
