Over the past year or so, I have received help and comments from a number 
of people with my writing, and felt it necessary to give my thanks to 
them.  This is more or less in chronological order, and I know I've 
missed a number of people with this.  If I've missed you, I apologize.

There have been some wondering about any post-Sunrise work, and some 
disappointment in my ML post that I may not be doing any more.  Right now 
I have a couple ideas; however, I feel at this time that the ideas I have 
thought up would detract from the story, rather than add to it.  This 
may change over time, so I am not ruling out a sequel entirely.

     Anyway...thank you...

First of all, to my parents, for putting up with this strange person all 
these years, and to my older brother Martin (and his wife Lynn), and my 
younger sister Heidi.   

To my teachers, for enlightening me and honing my skills; in particular 
Tina Dodson, for showing me the power of creativity; Virginia Collier, 
for teaching me emotional focus; and Pam Martin, for incredible help in 
developing my writing skill.

To a number of organizations here on the Texas A&M Campus, and its members: 
MSC Nova (gaming and recreational organization)

On to the writers and fans...

To Benares, whose writings are as bold and fresh as ever.  He was doing 
powerful, serious fanfiction long before I ever thought of doing it, and 
one of his works (the unfinished "Two Sides of a Coin") showed me I 
_could_ theoretically write fanfiction, as I could imagine how it would 
continue beyond its endpoint.

To John Walter Biles, whose classic "Putting Your Heart in the Right 
Place", was my introduction to fanfiction, and whose guidance helped me 
through some difficult times over the past year.

To Shannon Richmeyer, whose "Nightshadow" was one of the main influences 
on the style used in the original "Sunrise". 

To Doug "Stormwalker" Reeves, and his fiancee, Calinda.  The reasons I 
would give are so long and detailed that I could not place them all 
here, from C&C to using his computer to discussing plot to giving me a 
confidence boost when I really needed it (just before SC#1 came out).  

To David Bateson, whose early commentary on "Sunrise" came as a pleasant 
surprise to me, and who first introduced me to the Fanfic ML.

To Taleswapper.  I don't think I've ever put thoughts in quotes in any of my 
work after that first review...

To Chris Willmore, an excellent writer with a grasp of humor much greater 
than mine.  During this past summer, as I was writing the drafts to the 
first two parts of the Chronicles, I had two contacts: John Biles...and 
Chris.  His understanding of drama has come in handy over the course of 
these writings.

To Kelly "skywise" Schultz, who seems to have an excellent knack for the 
feel of prose...and when mine sounds off.

To Mike Loader, an expert at C&C, from detail work to cultural and plot 
gaffes, for his help in this endeavor.

To James "Zen" Bateman, whose critiquing has come in handy through this.  
Also, of all the writers I have had the pleasure to work with, Zen I envy 
the most: With his talent and skill, you're going to be hearing a lot 
more from him, and his best stories are yet to come.

To Richard Lawson, whose writing talent challenges me to write better, 
and whose comments on this, specifically after SC#2, showed me a 
different way of looking at the story.  

To whoever it was who really didn't like "Black Lemonade" and who wanted 
the spirits of the deceased to make an appearance in this (I think it's 
Theodore Hsu, though I could be wrong): Thank you for the comments, as it 
allowed me to put it a few fine details here and there.  Also, you just 
may get what you wish for...

To Eimii, currently considering a set of stories related to "Sunrise 
Chronicles", for caring enough about this storyline to consider writing 
about it.  From what I've seen so far, your ideas look lovely, and I wish 
you godspeed with your projects.

To White Wolf, administrator of the Fanfic ML, and to Megazone, Brian 
Edmonds, Salomon Ferrin, and any others who have worked with RAAC, for 
providing a forum for fanfic works.

To all those who read, write, and dare to dream...thank you.
