   Brrrrrrr.......

   That was...disturbing. Pretty good, actually, but.....ugh. I don't even
want to think about it anymore.

   Still...It made sense...in a very disrurbing way...

Indeed; a genuine "dark" fic, without a contrived premise (Genma is
pretty slimly, for sure (it's GeNma, BTW)), and very well written.
And often quite evocative, making good use of the reader's
imagination, e.g. thunder and lightning setup for Kuno's "fun"....

Specific comments:

I don't have any trouble with Cologne's role in this; especially since
there's a big difference between the roles of healer and matchmaker
for her grand-daughter. It's hard to believe she'd take advantage of
Ranma with the former hat on.

I liked the way you handled the fiancees; as for Nodoka---who can say,
I don't think we ever saw her really angry.

Perhaps my only quibble would be Ranma's state of mind. Granted, he'd
already worked through some of the mess before Genma 110'ed him a few
years ago, but he was awfully rational after the first little bit (on
the other hand, what is the point of self-discipline?). And the
revenge is almost *too* perfect---this is just about Dumas level
(e.g. the Count of Monte Cristo).

Perhaps it's just that all the good guys were a bit too rational for
the Takahahsi/fanfic norm, then again, this is an utterly sobering
sort of thing.

I have a very close friend who perhaps recovered a memory of an
incident in her past; she's not really sure, and doesn't want to
be.... But this *powerfully* affected her, for years (at least).
Allowing for melodrama, this part of the story is spot on.

Anyway, minor quibbles aside, this is a good work; I'd say it's worth
expanding just a bit and polishing if the author is so inclined (it's
got a lot of great parts, it's almost a shame that some are merely good).
