Very touching Joseph.  I liked it.  Throughout the whole story, I thought it
was Ranma mourning for Akane, instead of Ranma mourning for his
mother.  It was very suprising.  You ought to write a follow-up, either
similar to this or a complete story, showing weither Ranma learned from
this experience or not, dealing with his feelings for Akane (and his flock
of females).
