Hey, another guy who's toying with Super Metroid as an idea for a fanfic.  I 
wrote the prologue for one, which was set after Metroid 2, called "Point Of 
Extinction".  Basically, the last egg of the Metroids doesn't hatch 
immediately, and a confrontation between Samus and Ridley sends the egg 
hurtling through space and time; straight into the Ranma 1/2 Universe.  And 
guess who adopts the Metroid?

Anyway, I'd like to see what you do with this idea.  I'll look forward to it.
