In any event, RT has evidently started a new series. I have 6 of the first
7 installments in Shonen Sunday (I'm missing part 2). It is called
"Inuyasha", and to be perfectly frank, I'm not totally sure what it's about
yet. I should clarify that. I know what has happened in the story, but I
don't know where RT is going with it. I'm also not sure whether this is
really a new series like Ranma or Urusei Yatsura, or a miniseries, but the
first installment (in Shonen Sunday 1996 #50) called it (in big red kanji)
"Takahashi Rumiko-sensei's ultra-anticipated new series", so make of
that what you will.
My questions are: Has anyone else seen this manga yet? If so, do you
know if this is definitely more than a miniseries, or any other information
about the manga (i.e., where it's going, storywise)? Finally, is there a
more appropriate mailing list on which we can discuss this manga
(assuming there is any discussion)? I realize the FFML is not the best
place for this, but it is the only one I am subscribed to. Also, I do not
have access to the newsgroups (at least, I didn't when I last checked),
so I can only use mailing lists...
The best place I've found for info on this series is West of Tokyo
club's site:

That's not gonna help you, Tom, because if you don't have newsgroup
access then you obviously don't have web access either; but the rest
of you out there might be interested. This site has translations of
the series, scans from it, and some general info; probably not enough
to answer the questions you asked above. It may be that only
Takahashi-sama knows where this series is going...
