Subject: [FFML][sorta-SPAM] RT's new series

I'm not sure where to put this, or if anyone has mentioned this previously
here or anywhere else. If you're already aware of this, please accept
my apology for needlessly taking your time. However, I've not seen any
mention of this, and I'm posting it here because this is the only ML in
which I participate, and I figured Takahashi fans might be interested.

In any event, RT has evidently started a new series. I have 6 of the first
7 installments in Shonen Sunday (I'm missing part 2). It is called
"Inuyasha", and to be perfectly frank, I'm not totally sure what it's about
yet. I should clarify that. I know what has happened in the story, but I
don't know where RT is going with it. I'm also not sure whether this is
really a new series like Ranma or Urusei Yatsura, or a miniseries, but the
first installment (in Shonen Sunday 1996 #50) called it (in big red kanji)
"Takahashi Rumiko-sensei's ultra-anticipated new series", so make of
that what you will.

My questions are: Has anyone else seen this manga yet? If so, do you
know if this is definitely more than a miniseries, or any other information
about the manga (i.e., where it's going, storywise)? Finally, is there a
more appropriate mailing list on which we can discuss this manga
(assuming there is any discussion)? I realize the FFML is not the best
place for this, but it is the only one I am subscribed to. Also, I do not
have access to the newsgroups (at least, I didn't when I last checked),
so I can only use mailing lists...
