But what if they did manage it (supposing everyone took turns)?

	Of course, they could always _pipe_ the water out of the pool, and
rig a few mass showers. That would solve the problem nicely. And the
spirits demanding the sacrifices might be willing to go along with it,
since they'd get even more victims that way!
