I tried to make anonymous ftp access to www.wavenet.com to access the anime
area there and got a message (which everyone gets) threatening a lawsuit and
mentioning illegal access as if I were a common criminal. A message politely
stating that the machine does not accept anonymous access would have been far
more appropriate (especially in view of the fact that this was my first attempt
at accessing the machine and was not aware that it did not take anonymous
access) and I recommend in view of this rudeness that the person maintaining
the anime area there, if he or she is on this list, remove your area and place
it on a more user-friendly website.
