Here's a little snippet that will probably _never_ make it's way
into r.a.a.c or castle.net....

Early Afternoon; Nerima District, Tokyo, Japan:

If one could see into the tinted windows of the limousine, one
would wonder what memories provoked the rapidly cycling pattern of loss,
hatred, dispair, and rage visible on the face of the red-haired executive
named Dominique Destine. She sat quietly in the back of the limousine as
it traveled through Tokyo's Nerima district on it's way from Nightstone
Unlimited's newest branch office when....
	*THUMP*
"Wha-?" Dominique gasped as her centuries old memories were
inturrupted by the sound of someone bounding off the roof. She shoved
open the door and stood, narrowing her eyes at the throng of teenagers
chasing someone around the nearby rooftops and yelling at the top of thier
lungs too fast for her too follow. "Humans." she spat, making the word a
curse as she turned to examine the damage to her car.
Then the boquet landed on her head.
"*cough* *cough* WHO DARES!" the executive yelled on outrage as
she literally tore the bundle of black roses apart and scanned the sky
above. As she looked towards the rooftops, the hatchlings' quarry came
into view... and the world stood still.
The human male that flipped through the air was barely on the edge
of maturity, his still slightly rounded face adorned with expressive eyes
and topped by shoulder length black hair tied off in an odd braid. His
red silk shirt did little to conceal the lean, powerful musculature rarely
found among his race, nore did it restrict the graceful movements that few
gargoyles could hope to surpass.
In short, he was beauty incarnate.
"M-Ms. Destine?" said a voice she absently recognised as belonging
to the aide she commanded to sit in the front seat.
	"Yes?" she replied dreamily.
The aide blinked. His employer, the president of Nightstone
Unlimited, seemed... spaced, for lack of a better term; almost...
lovestruck? #That's crazy!# he thought as he looked the woman who could
never keep a secretary more than two months before losing them to less
stressful positions in nuclear plants.
"I really think we should be going ma'am," he noted cautiously,
"we have a meeting with-"
"Did you see the boy in the red shirt?" Dominique interrupted in a
slightly more collected voice.
"Er, I think I caught a glimpse of him, but-"
"I want his name." she said, the ice in her voice returning, "I
want to know that young man's name, place of residence, and the address of
his workplace or school and I want them before sundown, understood?"
"Urm, it's already 2PM Ma'am," the aide said nervously, recalling
the number of Nightstone employees that have dissapeared after failing
their boss, "that may not be feasa-"
The look in Ms Destine's eyes when she glared at him reminded the
man of rumors concerning the condition in which some of one of the missing
employees were found. "I want to find that man," she told him in a cold
whisper, "all other considerations are secondary. Is that clear?"
"y-yes ma'am." the aide said in a small voice as he stepped into
the front seat and dialed the first of many numbers on the cel-phone.
Demona, formerly of Clan Wyvern, absently wondered why she had
kept the torch lit for that big purple lug for 1000 years as she slid
into the back seat and smiled.
