Hey, for all those who know of my writing, I am beginning the first
draft to "Night of the Banshee" within the next week. This will be the
first Tenchi Muyo! (No Need for Tenchi!) fan fic I have done like this.
My first major anime-related fan fic, "Ranma . . . in Love!?" is almost
complete, as well.

So, I wished to post spoilers to this story, in case anyone can inform
me whether this story has been done before, or if they'd prefer to
salivate and anticipate the day when the story reaches my page (and
possibly the FFML).

So, here's the space . . .

Night of the Banshee Script Draft #1, January 6, 1997

This story is purely first-person from Ryouko's POV. This means that the
entire tale is written as though Ryouko were telling it, as though it
were happening to her as the reader is reading the text.

The story's timeline is that of the OVA series (Ryouko as the demon in
the Masaki Shrine, Washuu as Ryouko's mother, Ryo-ohki who already
assimilated the M.A.S.S., etc.)


- ichibanme ka -

Ryouko steps through the wall of the library of Yosho's shrine. Tenchi
is busy dusting off volumes of books from series of shelves, cases and
desks. She teases him, bored from the day's activities . . .

One of the books catches her eyes. She picks it up and peruses it while
Tenchi continues to work. It is a story of "Western Myths". She takes
the book and hides it in her suit, then continues to tease Tenchi.

Later, when Tenchi and Aeka and Nobuyuki leave for town to pick up some
supplies and groceries, Ryouko reads through her newly acquired book in
the sanctity of the rafters of the Masaki house.

The book contains some thorough insite on several Western Myths . . .
One that catches her attention the most, that she also ends up
rereading, is the story of the banshee.

When Tenchi and the others return from the city, Ryouko disappears,
walking out toward the Masaki shrine to return the book.
