to see you move to close a debate that strongly touches on your story.

I don't know what Panglossian means, so I'm not sure what you're
referring to. The main point, however, is your confrontational
attitude. You have a very clear view on the PRC. Obviously, no matter
what I or anyone else says, we are not going to change that view, and in
fact all that we're going to accomplish in inject anger and vitriolic
attitudes into the relatively pleasant atmosphere of the FFML. Some
people enjoy such debates, but most do not, and it certainly does not
belong on the FFML.
I'd be willing to discuss it with you, calmly, offline. But let's take
it away from the FFML.
The issues I've raised, which are relevent for all fanfics that that
attempt realism and that are set in the current PRC, won't go away
just because you wish they would.
This is exactly the attitude I'm talking about: angry, confrontational,
and not conducive to calm debate.
