Because Ryouga has spent more time than *either* Ranma or Genma in his
cursed form. All those months in China as a lost pig. It is harder for
potential 'cold pork lunch' to find/make hot water than a girl and her
panda. "China is a big place - and its even bigger when you're a pig!"
I don't buy this - Genma spends plenty of time in panda form, and even
seems to prefer to sleep in panda form. However, this is a very minor
point and doesn't need to be addressed.
I do think the bit about Shampoo, Mousse, and Genma not being affected
because of a magical intervention by Cologne is a slight cop-out. It
would be very interesting to see them affected by this as well - indeed,
as much time as Genma spends in panda form, and the way he avoids
problems by assuming panda form, seems to indicate that he fell to this
particular aspect of the curse earlier than Ranma or Ryoga. And Shampoo
is the only character who has never expressed an aversion to being
cursed - indeed, she seems to enjoy becoming a cat once in a while.

Well, I won't argue these points any further, especially since we're not
going to change each other's minds. I just wish you'd add a few
sentences about how Ranma is acting in a sexist way because she believes
that's how women should act; then I could truly enjoy this story.
