This was a really good story. I don't know why I love these angst-ridden
ones, but que cera... Anyway, this kind of stuck out at me.

Isn't a naginta a 8-12' long spear? The traditional blades for suicide were
the tanto or the wakigashi. The katana was used by the second to behead the
suicidee, so that he doesn't suffer much pain.
I really enjoied this story. It was a situation that we all find ourselves
in at one point or another, and Ranma was very lucky to have Akane there to
help him. (What am I talking about? They're _both_ fictious characters!
Wait till the Doc. hears this!!)
