The soul of a toaster, and the needle's ice

A pale syrup sings of bread and iron,
the green broom screams in pain,
a sword of shining ice gives a yelp,
and shatters the smell of music,
the spell of cheese is broken,
by the one who walks on wine,
a red rose remembers long ago,
a time of warmth and light,
the sky was a silver sphere,
the wind sang of free souls,
riding the beams of chocolete,
coming from the hidden star.

A needle remembers days gone by,
a void of ice and snow,
a song of hope rises above the cold,
the heart of shadows cry,
"Away with the Sun!",
"The rainbow song,",
"The holy fog,",
"will give us so much pain!",
the ashes of a nation,
born of hope and love,
are carried upon the wind of time,
like feathers made of sound,
a secret few can ride the wind,
and bend it to their will,
"Beware of them,",
a needle sings,
"They will freeze your soul!".

A bottle of black marble,
looks back on long ago,
pain and laughter,
love and hate,
there is much a soul can find,
within the ice and snow.
