Chapter 5: Just A Few More Hours...
"Hello?" Greeted Akane as she picked up the phone. "Oh, hi Amy! So how has
it been going? Really? You guys took care of Beryl and got Tux back! Why
didn't you ask for me and Ranma's help? Anyway, I'm so happy for you all,
tell Serena congratulations. What was that? He lost his memory? Again?
You want to talk about something with me? You're going to our prom! That's
so exciting! You have got to be in our group. So who's the lucky guy?"
From outside, the birds are suddenly startled by the echo of Akane's "WHAT!"
which continues to boom throughout the entire evening sky.
"I'm not dragging along clueless boy here!" Ranma had argued when Akane
asked him, no ordered him, to have Ryoga go with him to pick up their tuxes
together. "It's bad enough I'm going to be stuck with him all night. Why
doesn't the little piggy try to find his own way there," teased Ranma.
"P-Chan is your damn date, why don't you take him there!"
After much violence from Akane, Ranma had finally relented and here he was
dragging Ryoga with him back to Selix.
"Don't think I like following you Ranma," Ryoga pouted as he walked after
Ranma towards the mall. "I'm only doing this for Akane."
"Yeah, whatever," Ranma said nonchalantly. Ranma's mind was distracted.
For some reason he couldn't comprehend, he kept thinking how he wanted Ryoga
to get lost right now. Get lost so he wouldn't make it back here tonight.
"Hey P-Chan, you don't think Akane really wanted to go with you, right?"
With those words, Ryoga couldn't help but grin. "What's the matter Ranma,
are you jealous that Akane finally dumped you for me?" he smiled.
"Jealous of that tomboy and you? I'd be more envious if Kuno dumped me for
someone else," replied Ranma. "Besides, what do I have to be jealous of?
Shampoo's twice the women Akane will ever be, if you catch my drift."
"How dare you say such things about Akane! You take that back," an
infuriated Ryoga shouted.
"Hey Ryoga, keep your cool. You wouldn't want to get lost now would you?"
"Shut up Ranma," Ryoga uttered as he began to calm down.
"But I mean, look at Shampoo and look at Akane. I get her back confused
with her ...," Ranma began but abruptly stopped when Ryoga's fist swung by
his face.
"You're not going to speak of my date like that!" roared Ryoga.
Ukyou was getting tired. She had been sitting still for almost an hour now
as the hair stylist was putting in pin after pin in her hair. She wanted to
do something, anything.
"So, you going to the junior prom tonight," the hair dresser asked as she
continued to chew her gum loudly.
"Uh-huh, but not with the man I want to go with."
"Ah, that's a shame dearie. I remember my prom. It was the most romantic
evening of my life," the hair dresser reminisced. She then quickly nudged
Ukyou. "Hey, even if you're not going with your dream date, doesn't mean you
can't get lucky right?" she said with a wink.
"Um, no. Not with whom I'm going with. Definitely not going to happen.
No."
"I don't know, you don't want to feel left out of the crowd do ya? I mean,
I'm assuming y'all rented a hotel room, right?"
"Yeah, we did, the Sheraton Grande, but that's so we can have a party
there...,"
"I'll bet y'all be having a party their," interrupted the hair dresser.
"But I'm willing to bet there'll be more private parties."
"Is that really true? Is that what usually happens?" asked a wide eyed
Ukyou.
"Girl, you don't know the half of it. When you notice some of your friends
disappearing for an hour, what'd you think they're doing?"
A terrible realization was beginning to dawn on Ukyou. No, she knew that no
matter what, Mousse ain't laying a finger on her. But what about Shampoo and
Ranma. Did Ranma know this? Was he planning to... with Shampoo? And Ryoga
and Akane. She always knew he loved Akane. Was she actually getting jealous
of him and Akane now? Was she going to be the oddman out?
"What are you doing here," barked a voice from besides Ukyou. "Why don't
you wear a rag on your head like the maid you are," taunted Kodachi as she
plopped down into the chair next to her. Her hair had just been washed, and
the stylist was just starting on her hair.
"Sorry honey, but I'm going to the junior prom. Maybe you haven't heard of
it at your school, but girls and boys dance together. Of course, what you do
at your school is none of my business...,"
"Are you suggesting something," snapped back Kodachi. "Besides, I too shall
be attending the Furinkan High junior prom."
"What!? It's not even your damn school. Why are you going?"
"My darling Ranma will be there. You don't expect him to go without me?"
"You do realize Ranma is going with Shampoo. How do you plan to get in
there stag?"
"Well, I do have a date."
"You do?" Ukyou asked in surprise. "Who'd you hypnotize to go with you?"
"Hmph. He happens to be a very talented young man, ASB president of his
school I'll have you know. Anyway, me, brother dear, and our dates will
accompanying the same group as Ranma to the junior prom."
"WHAT!?" screamed Ukyou as she stood up. "You're going to be in MY group!"
"Oh, to think I'm going to be spending the evening with riff raff like you!
Thank goodness we'll at least be dining at different establishments and have
different rides."
Ukyou let out a breath of relief. So she wasn't going to be stuck with
Kodachi the whole night. Thank goodness.
"But I do have to be with brother's nerdy girlfriend, Amy Anderson."
"WHAT!? She's going with Kuno!" Ukyou shouted again.
"Ma'am, please hold still, your hair is going to...," but the dresser never
finished as the pins holding Ukyou's hair up begins to slip. With a plop,
all her hair had dropped straight down around her head. She almost looked
like a sheep dog.
"Um, I don't have to pay extra do I?"
"You look beautiful Akane," complimented Kasumi.
"Not bad little sis," commented Nabiki.
Akane was standing in front of a full length mirror, turning and spinning as
she looked at every angle of her dress. The simple spaghetti strapped dress
fitted her body perfectly. Not too tight, and not too baggy either. She
turned and looked at her back. Her back was revealed down to her waist. She
turned again quickly and the slit revealed much leg as the wind broke it..
"Hey, careful with that," pointed out Nabiki.
"Did you like what I did with your hair?" inquired Kasumi.
"Oh, I love it Kasumi," gushed Akane. There wasn't much she could do with
her short hair, but Kasumi had wetted it, and managed to get her usually
puffy hair fairly straight. Her bangs were brushed back behind her ears, but
some of her hair was as stubborn as she was. A few bangs dangled loosely in
front of her eyes.
"And the final touches," Nabiki said as she clasped brilliant strings of
pearls, to match her earrings, across Akane's neck. The pearls settled right
above her low cut dress, near the breasts.
"My little girl is finally growing up," sobbed Soun as walked into Akane's
room. He then started hugging her.
"Dad! Please, you'll wrinkle my dress," protested Akane.
"Father, I see the tuxedo still fits you perfectly," Kasumi noted.
"Yes, Ms. Hinako insisted I dress up as well.
"Just remember dad, we have enough kids in this house, so you and Ms. Hinako
better not be planning anything..." nudged Nabiki.
"Akane," Soun stated as he held her by the shoulders. "Promise me one
thing."
"Dad, you have nothing to worry about. Me and Ryoga aren't going to...,"
"Please promise me you'll reach womanhood with Ranma."
All the girls fell to the ground in weird Japanese anime poses.
"Ranma, apologize right now!" screamed Ryoga as he threw his bandannas at
Ranma who easily dodged them all.
"Don't blame me for Akane's genetics, blame god," chided Ranma.
"Ranma! Have you no decency! Baksie Tenkitz!" roared Ryoga as he missed
Ranma and demolished the brick wall behind them.
"Pig boy, you better drop this now while you can," Ranma said as he flipped
onto the top of another wall.
"Baksie Tenkitz!" answered Ryoga as he shattered another wall.
"That's it," Ranma exclaimed as he jumped off the wall, grabbed Ryoga's head
as he flipped, and tossed Ryoga against another wall.
"Remember what you told Akane?" Ranma reminded him as he landed.
"This is for Akane! Shi Chi Hokodan!" he chanted as he formed a ball of chi
and lets it loose at Ranma.
Ranma leapt over it, and while Ryoga was recharging, let loose a hail of
punches against Ryoga's head as he cried "Tencho Amaguriken!"
Ryoga reeled back before he stumbled onto the ground. But in his fury and
Ranma's carelessness, he had managed to grab Ranma's leg while he was down.
With all his strength, he hurled Ranma against a telephone pole.
Ranma winced in pain as he fell to the ground.
"This is it Ranma!" yelled Ryoga as he pulled out his umbrella, preparing to
smash Ranma's head with it.
"Mouko Takibishya!" responded Ranma as his chi blast smashed against Ryoga's
body and sent him skidding down the street.
Clutching his throbbing chest, Ryoga had finally lost it. More so. He had
finally reached his berserker rage (no relation to Wolverine). When he
reached this point, Ryoga's adrenaline practically increased his strength
beyond human levels, and he'd be damned if anything short of a nuclear bomb
was going to stop him.
"DIE RANMA!" he thundered as he charged Ranma.
Ranma jumped over him as Ryoga continued on his rampage crashing through
wall after wall until he was out of sight. The pivotal weakness to Ryoga's
berserker rage. His sense of direction actually got worse.
"Well, that takes care of that," Ranma declared as he wiped dust off
himself. And then he realized something. Ryoga's lost. He only has two
hours to find his way back to their house, and who knows how long it'll take
him to realize he was even lost. "Akane is going to kill me," Ranma
realized. "But why do I feel... glad?"
"That's weird," thought Mousse. "You're saying Ranma Saotome and Ryoga
Hibiki haven't picked up their tuxedo's yet?" Mousse asked the pimple faced
Selix kid.
"I wonder what's keeping them," thought Mousse. And then he smiled
brightly. "Maybe Ranma isn't going with Shampoo after all!"
Chapter 6: Meeting Mom And Dad
The Kuno home alarm system went off as sirens rang and red lights began
flashing. Kodachi went outside to check who was the interloper.
"Aaaahahaha," she laughed as she saw a skinny pale man in a tux hanging
upside down with his leg caught in a rope. "So, I'm assuming you are
Katsuhiko Jinnai? Can't say I was expecting much, but you are below even
that."
Jinnai on the other hand, was in love. This excusite being was going to be
his date for the night! He couldn't believe his good fortune. Her curly
black hair was tied up in a sort of bun with a black ribbon, to reveal the
flesh of her bare shoulders and neck. The black gown highlighted each
delicious curve of her upper body. The flowing dress at the end made him
ambitious to see the details of her lower body. A black choker was wrapped
around her neck, a pair of black arm bracelets were on her upper arm,
diamond studs were on her ears. He began to feel his head pound with lust.
Or maybe it was just all the blood rushing to his head?
"Who would have thought a lousy dating service would find me her! Waiting
for six months for an answer had been worth it. Her lovely black hair, those
ruby lips, and that feeling of mischief that permeates from her like an
aphrodisiac, is simply unbearable!" Jinnai observed to himself.
He fell to the ground with a thump after Kodachi cut the rope with a razor
hoop. He quickly got up and straightened his clothes.
"Greetings Ms. Kodachi Kuno, I am indeed the mighty Katsuhiko Jinnai, your
every wish come true for this night," he boasted as he bowed. "These my
dear, are for you," he says as he hands her a single white rose.
"Didn't know she'd be worth more than one rose," Jinnai thought.
Kodachi tosses the white rose aside. "Let us get one thing straight my
albino friend. First of all, I am going simply to get my dear Ranma away
from that felicitous Jezebel, and secondly, if you so much as touch me where
you shouldn't, you'll become even more pale after I loose the blood from your
body! So just sit still in the living room while brother takes the limo to
pick up his date," commanded Kodachi.
"I will be nothing short of a perfect gentleman my dear. But you might
change your mind about me by the end of the night, at least this much I
shall hope for," Jinnai politely said.
"Your dear Ranma?" Thought Jinnai. "Well, I'll just have to do something
about him than, won't I?"
Ranma walked into the house anxiously. He had tried to look for Ryoga, but
he was nowhere to be found. He could have been in Osaka by now. Ranma swung
the tux off his shoulder onto the couch. He was pretty sure Akane was going
to kill him.
As soon as he saw the all decked out Akane descend from the top of the
staircase, his death was the last thing on his mind.
"Ranma, you're back... but where's Ryoga," Akane said worriedly. "Ranma, he
didn't... you didn't..."
It took a while for the words to hit Ranma. He couldn't believe that he was
looking at Akane. She looked so..., fine. "Akane, you look... good," he
gasped.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO RYOGA, RANMA!"
Ranma didn't know what to say. Every piece of logic in his head told him to
"LIE! LIE!" But Ranma did just the opposite.
"It wasn't my fault! Me and Ryoga kind of got into this... scuffle, and one
thing lead to another and...," muttered Ranma. His head hung down so he
wouldn't have to look at the wicked gaze of Akane.
"No Ranma, you didn't really, tell me this is all some kind of joke,"
stammered a shocked Akane.
"No, Ryoga's probably somewhere in the Sahara by now."
Ranma expected Akane the wrath of the mallet any moment. After a brief
pause, nothing had struck him yet. He looked up to see Akane's tear stained
face.
"Ranma, do you hate me that much! Do you have to try to ruin everything in
my life! Well, I hate you too Ranma!" cried Akane as she slapped Ranma
across the face hard. Ranma almost fell down from the strength of her slap.
She had never hit him that hard before.
"Akane, wait, it's not that simple," stuttered Ranma as Akane began running
upstairs to her room.
"Ranma, that was low, even for Kuno," Nabiki scolded as she walked into the
room with Kasumi.
"Oh my, someone should comfort Akane right now," Kasumi said as she began to
follow Akane upstairs.
Soun and Genma also popped up in the room.
"Mr. Tendo, dad, you don't blame me, right?"
"Ranma, that was going too far. Taking advantage of Ryoga like that.
Genma, I don't even know if I want your son engaged to Akane anymore,"
reprimanded Soun as moved to go to Akane's room.
"Dad, you'll listen to me won't you?"
Genma smacked Ranma's head. "Disgraceful son! Have I not taught you some
honor? A man to man fight for Akane is one thing. Deceiving the poor boy is
something else!" shouted Genma.
Soon enough, everyone had gone upstairs, leaving Ranma alone.
"It... it wasn't my fault," Ranma stammered to himself. "Was it my fault?
Did I mean for that to happen?" wondered Ranma.
"Salutations Mrs. Anderson. I must say, I almost took you for your lovely
daughter for a moment," greeted Kuno as Amy's mom opened the door.
"Oh, what sweet things to say. Please come in, and make yourself at home,"
replied Mrs. Anderson. "Amy, your date is here!"
Upstairs, Amy was putting the finishing touches on her makeup.
"Lord, I really hope I don't regret this," she thought as she puckered her
lips together. The desire lipstick and raisin lip liner were perfect for her
light skin. She picked herself up from in front of her mirror and prepared
to go downstairs to see her date, the so-called blue thunder, Tatewaki Kuno.
"I am not quite sure I deserve the praise, but many names have been bestowed
upon me by my peers. From blue thunder to shining star, I am the undisputed
kendo champion of Nerima," boasted Kuno. He was now sitting on the sofa by
Mrs. Anderson, and Mr. Anderson was sitting in the chair next to Mrs.
Anderson.
"Indeed, you must truly be a marvelous student as well," Mrs. Anderson
stated.
"It can be said that my mind is as great as my might, but my true passion
will always be for my bokken and now..., your lovely daughter," replied Kuno.
"Oh, he's a smooth one," Mrs. Anderson whispered to Mr. Anderson.
"Afterall this time, might we have stumbled upon the perfect compliment for
our talented daughter? Yes, he does seem to have more than just brains. He
at least has more brawn than that wimpy Greg," whispered Mr. Anderson back.
"Oh, tell me about it! I was so disappointed in that dweeb she brought
home...,"
"Oh my, truly the heavens has misplaced one of their angels onto earth,"
Kuno said as his eyes were caught by Amy descending the stairs.
She wore a brilliant midnight blue dress (were you expecting a different
color?); it wrapped around her neck and tightly swept down to her feet. She
had blue gloves and blue 4 inch heels on to compliment the dress, and a
lovely pearl bracelet and necklace on that twinkled in the light. Her hair
however, looked the same as it usually looked. There really wasn't much you
could do with short hair.
"Mom, dad, you weren't comparing Kuno to Greg were you?" scolded Amy.
"Of course not dear! You know how much we love Greg, and it means all the
more when we say we like Kuno even more," her mother answered.
"Your parents are far too generous my blue haired beauty, but I shall be
barely touching the tip of the iceberg when I say Michaelangelo could not
have crafter a greater beauty himself," compliments Kuno as he takes a hold
of Amy's hands when she had reached the bottom of the stairs.
He gently kisses her gloved hand. "These my dear, can hardly compare to the
beauty that is you," he says as he hands her a dozen blue roses.
"Thank you very much Kuno," she acknowledges as she takes a whiff of the
roses. "These smell delightful. Mom, if you don't mind, could you put these
in water?"
Her mom is more than happy to take them. "Wow Amy, look at these beautiful
roses. I don't remember Greg giving you roses before, do you hon?"
"Nope, that cheap bastard never brought roses," commented Mr. Anderson.
"Dad! Leave Greg out of this. all right Kuno, I believe your sister is
still waiting for us at home?"
"...Yes, my insane sister will sadly be tagging along with us. I do hope
her date is at least somewhat sensible."
"Yeah, I sure hope so too," thought Amy.
Kuno opened to door for Amy, and was surprised to find a red carpet rolled
out for her to the limo. The driver was holding the door open. She had to
admit, this was impressive.
"It has been a great honor meeting the parents of this celestial spirit, may
we meet again," Kuno farewelled as he shook both of their hands.
"Oh no, the pleasure was all ours meeting such a refined boy as yourself.
Amy can stay out as long as she'd like," her father replied as he shook
Kuno's hand.
"Do not fear Mr. Anderson, your daughter is in safe hands."
A blue drop formed on Amy's head. "What does this say about my parents?"
wondered Amy.
Ranma slowly pushed Akane's door open. Her face was buried into her pillow,
but he could still hear her muffled sobs through it.
"Akane, I'm..., I need to talk with you," Ranma softly said.
"Ranma, get away *sniff* from me. You've already ruined *sob* everything,
did you just come to gloat. *Sniffle*, just go with Shampoo and have a good
time yourself," Akane sobbed out in between choking on her tears.
"Look, it's not like that... are you going to listen to me or what?"
Ranma quickly ducked as a 10 lb. weight was thrown at his head.
"You dare raise your voice to me after what you've done!" roared Akane.
"Get the hell out of my room! I'm not kidding this time Ranma!"
"Akane, calm down, you'll ruin your dress..."
A Webster Dictionary slammed into his face.
"Apparently it doesn't matter what this dress looks like anymore does!"
Ranma peeled the book of his face. For some reason, he couldn't leave her
alone. "Ryoga's gone now, this is your second chance," a voice from deep
within him whispered. He would've heard it too if he wasn't busy yelling at
Akane.
"Hey! I did you a favor by saving you from an embarrassing night with
Ryoga! That idiot was going to get lost sooner or later anyways..."
"Ryoga is ten times the man you are! Or maybe I should say 'twice' the man
you are," teased Akane.
"Don't go there girl," warned Ranma. "Look, if it means anything to you, I
won't go with Shampoo tonight," Ranma wearily let out.
"You think I care what you and Shampoo do! Go with that bimbo and do
whatever you want!" Akane then begins to unzip her dress while she screamed
"Here! Why don't you give her my dress too! Not that she'll be wearing it
much around a lecher like you..."
"You're being unreasonable," argued Ranma as he quickly grabbed her wrists,
but Akane struggled to get loose. They both thrashed around a bit as Ranma
maintained his grip on her wrists. Ranma's knees hit the bed, and he falls
onto the bed on top of Akane.
Ranma quickly realized their position, but unlike so many other times, he
didn't move. "Akane... I... I never wanted to go with Shampoo," he tells
her.
Akane just turned her head as tears continued to streak down her face.
"Akane, will you listen to me!"
"Ranma...," Akane calmly states. "Get off me, now."
Ranma was taken aback by Akane's sterness. He let go of her wrists and
stepped backward. Akane was always mad, maybe sad, but she'd never been this
cold before.
"Ranma, please just leave now."
Ranma tried to utter something out, but there was nothing. Defeated, he
slowly hanged his head and began to walk out of her room.
As he got to the door, a yellow blur ran in and pushed him aside swiftly.
"What the...," exclaimed Ranma before he looked up to see Ryoga, a dirty
mess, standing in front of him with his tuxedo slung over his shoulder.
"Akane... I did it. I found my way back here!" Ryoga happily shouted. "I
can't believe it, I found my way here in two hours!"
"Ryoga, thank god!" cried Akane as she hugged Ryoga tightly.
"Akane, were you crying?" asked Ryoga. "What did you do to her Ranma!"
shouted Ryoga as he quickly turned around to confront him. To his surprise,
Ranma was already gone.
"No, it's nothing, don't worry about me. Now that you're here, everything's
alright," she sniffled out as she wiped her tears away with her hand.
Despite Ryoga's return, she still had this strange numb feeling inside her.
Ryoga looked down and realized how low cut Akane's dress was. The last
thing he remembered before passing out was covering his nose with a bandanna
so blood didn't drip onto her dress.
"Stupid Akane, not like I meant to lose Ryoga. Stubborn tomboy, she
could've at least listened to what I had to say," Ranma muttered angrily as
he put on his slacks. "Her and that idiot Ryoga deserve each other..."
"Son, it's not too late for you too reconsider going with Shampoo,"
instructed Genma, as soon the tuxedo clad Soun followed him in.
"No way! I'm going with Shampoo tonight and it's too late to change my mind
even if I wanted too!"
Ranma began to step backwards when Genma and Soun began cracking their
knuckles. "Um, what are you guys up too?"
"We can't stop Akane from going with Ryoga by force...," began Soun.
"But we sure as hell can stop you!" finished Genma.
Ranma screamed as he leapt over the charging Genma and Soun.
"You guys are crazy!" shouted Ranma as he began running down the hallway.
Akane and Ryoga watched with wonder as Ranma ran past her room, followed by
a maniacal Soun and Genma.
"Wait here Akane, I want a piece of Ranma too!" Ryoga told her but before
she could run off, he found his whole body wrapped in chains.
"No way Ryoga, you're staying right here with me. I'm not taking the chance
you'll get lost again."
Soun's flying kick missed Ranma and he flew straight into the kitchen.
"Father! You stop that right now!" ordered Kasumi as Soun's foot crashed
through a wall.
"Thanks Kasumi," acknowledged Ranma.
"You'll get your tux all dirty if you keep this up," Kasumi scolded.
A blue drop began falling off Ranma's head.
"Don't worry Tendo, I can handle my son!" shouted Genma as he wrapped his
arm around Ranma's throat.
Ranma thrashed wildly as he tried to slip out of Genma's grip, and both of
them trounced around the room.
"Give it up boy! If I have to strangle you to prevent you from ruining your
life with that Chinese slut, I will!"
"Why don't you beat up on Ryoga to prevent him from going with Akane!'
yelled back Ranma as he slammed Genma's back against the wall.
"Oh my, Ranma, don't you remember that's where the...," Kasumi tried to
warn, but it was too late.
The old pipes, still held together by cloth and a piece of wood, broke again
as cold water drenched Genma and Ranma.
With Genma's soft fur, and Ranma's smaller size, he easily slips out of
Genma's grip, grabbed his arm, and threw him into the living room, sending
him crashing down upon the living room table.
"Thanks alot dad!" screamed girl type Ranma. "Now my slacks are all wet!
Where is the damn blow dryer," grumbled Ranma as he walked back upstairs.
"This isn't over yet!" the sign Genma held up read.
Mr. Panda managed a low roar before he suddenly passed out.
As he hit the floor, Cologne was revealed standing behind him, with her bony
finger extended.
"It simply would not do to have you interfere with Ranma and Shampoo's date
tonight," smirked Cologne. She then bounced away back to the Nekohauten.
The tendo home was actually quite for a few seconds before being interrupted
by a doorbell.
"I'll get it sis," Nabiki said. She opened the door, and saw a man in a
black suit wearing a driver's hat. "Oh, it's you. Wait a sec, I'll call
everybody." Nabiki cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted "Ranma!
Akane! Ryoga! You'd better be ready because your limo's here!"
Shampoo was humming to the tune of Love Potion #9 as she sprayed some exotic
perfume onto herself. The scent began to drift out of the window of her room
into the alley. The bottle was filled with yet another strange Chinese
mixture she had made herself.
Before she knew it, an eighty year old woman had jumped through the window
and began hugging her tightly. "Oh my god, I don't know who you are, but...,
you're the sexiest thing in the world. Who would've thought all this time I
was a lesbian," exclaimed the woman.
"Ai ya!" she complained as she knocked the woman out of her window into the
sky. "This stuff too strong, even work on woman. Have to use when Ranma and
I alone," she said as she smiled mischievously.
*Editor's Note: I think I have a problem. I just had a week from my computer
for Thanksgiving vacation, and I think I've lost my writing touch. I'm no
longer writing at the maniac pace I used to write at. Thus, I don't think
I'll be able to finish Prom Night until at least the end of December. Not
the mention that I have finals coming up soon. But who knows? Maybe I'll
get the knack back and finish this thing in a wild blur before Christmas, but
I doubt it. Okay, enough about that, time to get to the fanfic stuff. I
don't know if both of Amy's parents are together, but I'm assuming they are.
And I hope everyone understands why Akane was acting so cold to Ranma, she
felt he had gone to far in hurting her. She doesn't know that he did it for
his feelings that he can't admit to himself least of all her. She thinks he
did it in spite. Okay, the limo's waiting outside now, so I guess it's off
to the pre-prom dinner next. And yes, the title was a little misleading,
because only Amy really has both parents. As always, I would greatly
appreciate any comments; e-mail them to chihokodan@aol.com.
