Thanks to everyone who responded to my posting....
 I snagged a copy of some of my returned mail and saw the system header
was probably what eas causing things to go arwy...(a bit anyway) I sent
this to the ever helpful people at the help=desk with the suggestion that
this could be the reason 3 seperate mailing list servers hated me... they
said
 "no, of course not" 
 But strangely the problem seemed to sort it'self out then....
 Love those folks...
