  Seriously though, "Mars Attacks Japan!" is meant to be a series of
one-shot stories pitting the cast of one anime series against the Martians.
This way, we're not treading on the toes of the other authors in the
series.
    As for the tone, I want it something like the movie itself. I want the

feel

of a low grade B-movie, however, we're not going to kill anyone. Injure,
maim, crush, fold, spindle, mutilate, yes, but not kill.
    Cheap jokes are welcome and ENCOURAGED.

    Series I would like to include:

     Ranma 1/2
     Tenchi-Muyo--Ifurita's got dibs on this one.
     Sailor Moon
      Devil Hunter Yohko--Mine.
     Project A-ko
     Any others with a relatively modern timesetting (No Dirty Pair or BGC
please.)

   I'd like to do the Ranma part if no one else with more experience
volunteers! 

   I could always fall back on Sailor Moon, but I'd have a tendency to go on
overkill at the beginning.  It's relatively simple:  you have an invasion. 
How many times have there been invasions in Sailor Moon?  All you need is a
temporary power-up from Moon to Serenity and all the aliens would be turned to
ash...   Then again, who needs Serenity when you have Sailor Saturn?...  <evil
grin>

   Possible solutions: pick the Senshi from an early part in the series or
have the aliens kidnap Moon and/or separate her from the Ginzouishou (sp?).
