        Actually, I've been thinking about doing something like this for a
while now. My cast list is as follows (and also keep in mind that the
familial relationships aren't necessarily kept the same in this):

Tenchi = Ranma (obviously)
Noboyuki = Genma (also fairly obvious)
Youshou = Ryouga (wearing an elderly disguise.:> Can't you just see it?)
Ryouko = Ukyou (she's got a temper too...)
Aeka = Akane (seems right)
Sasami = (No idea for this one, but rest assured it will not be Azusa!)
Mihoshi = Kasumi (not dumb... just a little too nice)
Washuu = Ms. Hinako (she's got the professorial thing down pat... and Washuu
does have an adult form...)
Kagato = Kuno (or Mousse... either one makes a fairly nifty villain)

        What do you think?

Kasumi would be better as Tsunami. I also agree with the earlier post that
Shampoo IS Ryouko. This would make Mousse Kagato. 

Akane as Aeka... this works, although Aeka tends to be super polite when
she's around Tenchi.

If we were going to do the whole 'lets match the fiances' thing, let's see
what we have to work with...

Kodachi                Sasami   is too young, and Mihoshi is an airhead.

Too bad Ryouga isn't a girl. He can be pretty dense at times, and is
rather awkward. I would cast him as Mihoshi. 

I would make Ukyou Sasami, though it would be odd to picture Ukyou turning
into Kasumi.

Kiyone would have to be Kodachi, but less psychotic. Then again, with a
partner like Ryouga...

I would have no qualms about making Soun Youshou. He's got the hair...

I agree with your choices with the rest though. I hope you write this; it
would be interesting.
