   I'm interested too... (sounds sick!)  I like it!  

   But what would be the tone? Serious (some of the characters die) or
slapstick?  It's just that when you think about it, you just invoked a *lot*
of firepower. (If you want the aliens to be a real threat, you'd have to make
the aliens super-powerful)

The tone should be slapstick as in Mars Attacks even though some did die. 
Why make the aliens super powerful? Only powerful enough as they were in 
Mars Attacks. In fact why change their firepower at all?

   Air Defense: Washuu could rather easily churn out a goddamn fleet of
ryokis. (or at least, I think that's what she implied in the OVAs).

Washuu is in Tenchi Muyo right? Perhaps it would be best to limit the 
crossover to more easily controllable characters. I know the Ranma cast 
is somewhat controllable and I am sure the casts of Nuku Nuku and A-ko 
are ^_^

   Vehicles:  B-Ko's mechas...  <evil grin>
