   I'm interested too... (sounds sick!)  I like it!  

   But what would be the tone? Serious (some of the characters die) or
slapstick?  It's just that when you think about it, you just invoked a *lot*
of firepower. (If you want the aliens to be a real threat, you'd have to make
the aliens super-powerful)

   Air Defense: Washuu could rather easily churn out a goddamn fleet of
ryokis. (or at least, I think that's what she implied in the OVAs).

   Ground Defense: the Ranma 1/2 and Sailor Moon casts.  'Nuff said (can you
say "alien ground beef"?  I knew you could!).  A-Ko and DHY wouldn't be bad at
all at hand-to-hand fighting, I guess.

   Vehicles:  B-Ko's mechas...  <evil grin>

   Just as long as you don't bring any DBZ character in the fold...  <snicker>
Gokuu and/or Vejiita could easily blast the Martians (and Mars along with
them) into their component atoms before the invasion even began!
