That's a highly interesting idea. Up to now, only people whom
Ranma didn't like at all have fallen in love with his girl side
(Kunou; Ryouga, when Ranma was in disguise), so he never had
compunctions about hurting their feelings (or bodies). In this
case, he can neither tell the truth, nor give Wataru what he
wants. An interesting dilemma.
What would he do? I guess he'd probably try to set him up with
another girl, hoping that he'll forget about his affection for
Ranma's girl side. It would go absolutely wrong of course, but
in the end Wataru would get the hint and say "Oh, okay. Why
didn't you say so from the start?" :)
