Before Mr. Biles does something unfortunate, for which Belldandy and Kasumi
might shed many a heartfelt tear, may I suggest:


1) An alternate site be declared.  Far away geographically from venus.com, 
home of FFML.   There, when traffic failed, we could reconstitute in an orderly
fashion and commiserate until FFML came back up.  Even a meteor strike or
some similar disaster would be unable to stop us then.  The site ought to be non-realtime, so we don't just have to hang around.

One candidate has stepped forward.

I've checked it out and it looks good to me.  It's a PERL based BBoard page,
and as long as you have access to a Web browser, you could get there.

If people like this idea then:

2) The address and access method for the site should be added to the FAQ
and people posting TEST messages should be heartily encouraged to look
there for status when traffic fails.

3) A procedure for posting "Is FFML there?" notes on the BBoard should be 
established so that we don't confuse ourselves to heck.
