Recent, Andrew Dick posted as list of guidelines for Evil Overlords
which I enjoyed thoroughly. It made me wonder if ill-fated heroes should
have one, so here it is (albeit much shorter than Mr. Dick's)...

1. When an Operative is in the middle of an investigation, said
Operative will *not* have spooky theme music playing every time he looks
up.

2. When an Operative confront someone (even a hero) with a know criminal
past and has her in "arrest" position (hands interlocked behind head
with gun, knife, fingertips, etc. aimed at the small of her/his back) it
should be *him* asking *them* the questions.

3. No Operative will willfully or knowingly go singlehandedly against a
criminal who has just wiped out almost the rest of the entire police
force. He will, instead, find a nice quiet place to live, raise a
family, and train new cops.

4. If said Operative finds it impossibe to go after said criminal, he
will *not* try to dispose of said criminal with a *gun*, but rather will
take with him an *ultimate* weapon which he will find stashed away in a
broom closet two floors below the area of confrontation.

5. If said Operative shows acrobatic skills during confrontation with
lesser criminal or hero with whom he has a rivalry, he will *not*
suddenly lose the skills when 'the big guy' shows up.
