: Well, I've seen so many ideas for stupid crossovers (my favorite was the
: mouse one) I thought I'd throw this out there.
:
: It's really stupid. And very obscure. Very, very obscure. It involves
: one of my favorite comic book characters of all time. Why I like him so
: much, I don't know. He's not particularly likeable.

That's why. He is not very likable in a *human* way. Perhaps the
first comic psychopath that I ever believed could be real. I
would not go as far as saying that Alan Moore changed my life with
this book, but it certainly contributed.

: I feel my atoms flying apart. It is a relief.
:
: They come back together. I am standing in an alley, looking out into a
: street. It is warm, so much warmer than Antarctica. Still chilled.
:
: I look around, frankly disappointed. The blue man had blinked. He had
: let me live. Now, I have no choice. Must tell people. Even if it
: kills them.
:
: I hear shouts. Two boys, teenagers, fighting, in street. One turns and
: shouts at the other. I don't understand. Speaking in language I don't
: know. Asian, Japanese I think. Must have been teleported to Japan.

"Oh god." That's what I thought when I got to this passage.

: Two boys, guilty of assault and battery. Vandalism. Property damage.
: Must be punished, turned in to authorities.

<raises brow> Turned in to the authorities? Rorschach? He did
that because it was convenient, not because he thought the
authorities would do any good.

Good that I thought you were crazy even before this, otherwise
this might have shocked me. :)
